The first day we arrived early and they let us go to the room which was very nice, but we had to leave the room again because our bathroom did not stop running water, when we returned we had to ask if it had been repaired and although the receptionists were not rude it just seemed like they were always too busy to even reply when you said good morning. The second day we returned at 3:00 p.m. and our room had not been cleaned and we told the manager that every day we left at 9 o'clock and returned around 3 o'clock so she had all that time to clean, while we we had to wait at the hotel bar which is not open during the day so we could not even have a coffee, third day, we returned at 3 and guess what room had not been cleaned? Yes, ours, once again, after exploring, we wanted to rest and had to wait outside for it to be cleaned. We told the receptionist that it was the second time and we asked if a coffee was possible, but the answer was no. I had to pee, so I went to the restaurant's bathroom, where one door did not close due to the damage to the wall and the other two had no paper, not only the bathrooms had no paper but there was no paper to dry the hands and of the 3 sinks only one worked. I include photos of the bathroom that is not what is expected of a 4-star hotel, a safe that obviously did not work and sheets that must be changed. Now not everything is negative, the breakfast is quite varied, the lady who serves it is extremely nice and the person who prepares the coffee not only makes it delicious but also makes an extra effort to make it beautiful.

It was a pleasant stay, thanks to the friendly staff and their hospitality, especially a very nice gentleman as i remember his name is Simone, who was doing his best to serve the guests and make sure all is fine. moreover this hotel is a walking distance from the Pisa tower, and has a free parking which is not easy to find if you want to stay in town.

I was looking for a good hotel to stay in for 1 night to enable us to reach the airport easily in the morning. Alarm bells rang straight away when the date was changed on the confirmation at the end of the booking process. Instead of a night in September they were “pleased to welcome us on November 10th”. This wouldn’t normally be a problem but they had already charged my credit card and didn’t permit refunds for any reason! I emailed them several times before I got a response. Eventually a young lady said she thought she could alter it for me which she did. After check in the litany of disasters began. Lift - only went to 2nd floor from Ground floor. Most guests seemed to be on the 3rd floor. Air conditioning - not working, room temperature 28c. It turned out that it was switched off. I was told the lowest temperature setting was 24c. No room service “Minibar” empty. Tea/coffee making facility was a kettle and 1 mug - nothing else. Toiletries - 2x 20 ml bottles of shampoo/conditioner and 1 very small bar of soap. Bed linen not ironed. 2 very flat synthetic pillows between us. Very noisy . Railway outside hotel going throughout the night. Busy road on the other side. There was often no one on the front desk. I went to ask for help with the air con not working early evening - no one there, other guests waiting. Eventually another guest found the receptionist/night manager(?) eating his dinner in another part of the hotel. No one serving on the bar. One waitress ( the only shining star in the place) was taking orders, serving meals and collecting used crockery from 10 tables in the restaurant. She did a brilliant job. We had a Junior Suite which bore no resemblance to the Junior Suites we had enjoyed during the rest of our trip. After a hot, noisy, sleepless night it was a relief to get out of the hotel Four star - no way. 2+ stars at best. A very basic service provided by a skeleton staff. Go there at your peril!

On a recent family trip to Pisa with British Airways this was the hotel we opted for. It is handily located 20/30 mins walk (depending on how fast you walk) from Pisa Centrale station but is actually only 5mins walk from San Rossore station which is a 5min train ride to Centrale. There are very regular train services from here to Pisa, Lucca and La Spezia whcih allow for further exploration of the region. The hotel is clean and the staff very friendly and helpful (one staff member even brings her Labrador Maya to work). The rooms are spacious and comfortable. My own room was located at one far end of the hotel which sadly is next the railway line which can be noisy but with the air con on in the room the noise isnt too troublesome. Breakfast is a continental style breakfast and is hearty and wholesome and a good way to set up for the day. A pleasant base for explroing Pisa and the wider region. Would reccomend.

The location of this hotel is not in the center of Pise, so you will have to walk about 10 minutes to join the center. The hotel has a big parking available, so you can go there easily if you come by car. The hotel is located close to a railroad, and the window glass is thin, so during the night you will occasionally be waken up by the trains, as well as by the cars on the road. There was no air conditioning in our room, which was really unhelpful as we went there in the middle of summer. There was only one small bottle of shampoo for two persons, which is a bit narrow-minded for a 4-stars hotel. The breakfast was below the standards of this type of hotel, lacking variety and salted dishes. Maybe it was because of the Covid measures, but the Bologna Savoy (also a 4-stars) was able to do much better with the same circumstances. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
