Very good location if you come to Pisa by train or airport. You can reach hotel by foot it is very close to everything you need. Good price and quality ratio. Wifi is good enough to compare with other hotels Would stay here again for sure. Thanks!
This hotel is what it is, a train station hotel. The area around the hotel is abit ran down and not much to find, but don’t get off the train expecting to be in the city centre, Pisa isn’t a big fancy city, the centre is about 20 minutes away on the bus from the train station so if you don’t mind that it’s okay otherwise I’d look to stay more closer to the tower (that’s where the “city” is). The location of the hotel is fantastic if you need the train or coming/going at early/late times. Very basic hotel but it’s sufficient and for the price we paid I can’t complain. the room was clean and the bed was very comfy. The rooms could do with a fresh paint then it would make them so much better!!!
Many of the other reviews hit the spot. If you need to be near the train station, it is a five-star hotel. As to getting to the main sights, walk back to the train station and catch a taxi. Do not wear yourself out walking to the Tower and elsewhere. As to the remainder, it is a budget hotel. What do folks expect?! Of note, there is not much to see or do around the hotel. You will see that, like many transit areas, the surrounding area seems a bid seedy/sketchy. Nevertheless, we did not have any problems walking around day or night, and the night was quite. I cannot say the same about areas that are near transit centers in the USA.
The hotel is basic but very well located close to the metro station The guy in the reception didnt speak well english so I had to understand his italian The rooms were basic, humble, but clean and ok for the price The best part is the location if you have to take a train But is not that good for the pissa tower, you hace to walk like 20 minutes.
Located around 5 min walk from the train station, it’s hard to try and fault the location of the Hotel Terminus & Plaza, particularly if you’re coming off a late flight into the city. This was the exact scenario facing me, and I was relieved to set down for the evening. A lot of the reviews make mention of a receptionist who seem preoccupied and spoke to himself, while I believe this was the same gent I dealt with, I didn’t have any real problem, he wasn’t being rude, clearly just a bit quirky! The rooms themselves also hard to fault really. It’s an old fashioned look, but the furniture actually appeared to be fairly modern, and everything was relatively clean. Room is your typical compact, slightly cramped Italian hotel. It did have a nice, albeit tiny, balcony looking down above the entrance. As is something of an unusual trend the bathroom is disproportionately large compared to the room itself. Again, everything in perfect working order. Only thing about the room I could possibly complain about is the house the aircon makes, but it does work perfectly so I almost feel bad complaining. One thing that does need work is the breakfast. I’m familiar with continental buffets, but this just seemed a bit sparse for me. Overall, I was relatively pleased with my stay. Nothing to rave about, but I’d gladly visit again if heading to Pisa.…
