We stayed at this hotel for four nights and chose it based on location and price.

You can't get a better location - Pisa is really quite small but it's so close to the tower but not too close that you hear all the tourists.

The room itself was basic but clean and enough for what we needed. There was only one working plug which wasn't great when we had multiple devices to charge daily as well as a Mosquito repellent plug in which was provided by the hotel. The bathroom was clean but could do with a refurbishment and a bigger shower ideally (my husband kept knocking the control when moving).

The staff were amazing though, really lovely and the restaurant on site was beautiful. The food was great and we stopped every night for a drink. Seemed it was popular with locals too.

Check in is at 2pm (not advertised on Booking.com) and reception is open 8:30am-11pm and not 24 hours. Only down side to this is that we booked a taxi through reception when we checked out but it didn't arrive and no one there to ring to check on it.

Only a 10 minute/ 10 euro taxi from the airport.

As stated in other reviews the hotel is pretty basic. However it is clearly rated as 2 star and is not trying to deceive. The room and beds were clean and comfortable enough. The air conditioning was very good. There was a large bath towel for each person. The hand and bidet towels in the bathroom were tea towel material. Perfectly adequate and we had no issues. Despite reports that there were no power sockets, we had one each beside the beds and there were a further two beside the desk. No problem charging phones and the wifi was fine. The hotel is very well located. It took about 15/20 mins to walk to the Pisa Centrale train station. £38 euros for 2 adult returns to Florence an hour journey if you catch the quick train. About 30 mins to Lucca. A 5 minute walk from the hotel and you are at the Tower. It was extremely busy during the day. Each evening after dinner we walked the few minutes to the Tower. Lovely - still a buzz about it but much quieter. The hotel restaurant had good pizza. The street behind is pedestrianised and there are loads of eateries. We enjoyed our stay. Not luxury but we felt comfortable and safe. What more can you ask.

Hospitality, cleanliness, availability, professionalism... Everything top. The structure is ancient and incredibly cool! As soon as you enter you smell clean and care for the customer. The restaurant next door is under the same management and offers excellent pizzas and very good Tuscan food. Of course, the furniture is old-fashioned and you can hear some traffic noise (some rooms are on the street) but the helpfulness of the staff, the proximity to the city center and the cleanliness are worth more than aesthetics! Advised.

Everything was perfect. The owner and his wife are extremely welcoming and enthusiastic. The hotel’s restaurant captured all the essential flavors of the Tuscan region; you really shouldn’t leave Pisa without coming here. The vibes of the outdoor area are immaculate and it’s clear that the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and hassle-free.

We arrived in the afternoon of 2 December 2023, a discreet welcome but the real problem was the room... As soon as we entered we felt such suffocating heat that we wanted to open the window, which was impossible 1 because there was a net covering it, 2 because as we managed to open it, a sensational fried pizza was found in the room since there is a restaurant under the window. The very small bathroom with shower in a separate location, i.e. on the opposite side of the room, but the most uncomfortable thing was the terrible cigarette smell probably caused by the old guest who smoked like a chimney in the bathroom which had no windows. As far as we are concerned the bathroom was not cleaned properly. Spending the night in that room was tiring as heat sources from the restaurant probably passed under the bathroom and the air was unmanageable, the estimated temperature was between 35 and 40 degrees so much so that we woke up in a bath of sweat like nothing else. ..

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. Although check in was scheduled for 2.00pm, the staff allowed us to leave our luggage there in the hotel in the morning as soon as we arrived. The location of the hotel is perfect: 5 minutes from Piazza Dei Miracoli and its spectacular monuments; 5 minutes from the Arno river and its bridges that divide the city; a few steps from the center and the main squares, as well as from the station which can be reached on foot in just 15 minutes.
The room and the premises are certainly dated and have a style that harks back to the elegant 80s, however, despite the slightly retro taste, everything was clean and tidy. The morning cleaning of the room was impeccable. The only negative note regarding cleanliness is the pink sofa in the hotel lobby which is visually ruined and not very inviting to sit on also due to some stains that characterize it. The restaurant is excellent: if you have the chance, stop for lunch there (focus on the cuisine, note of merit for the fish dishes, pizza for non-Italian tourists).
Recommended and safe return at least for the restaurant.

Nice small hotel. Very clean, staff were friendly & helpful. Only 5 min walk to Pisa, 15 min walk from Pisa centrale train staition. Perfect location for sight seeing. Reasonable menu prices, food was very nice. Good restaurant in the the Pisa location I recommend bistro pecorino. Train to Florence is approving £15 a return, highly recommended. Lovely courtyard to sit and have your morning coffee.

A slightly dated hotel, but with an enviable position, a stone's throw from ... everything. Rooms with signs of aging but very clean and quiet. Bathroom with shower not very large, otherwise everything was normal. Breakfast (for a fee, 3 euros per person) was quite satisfying. The restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent. Small flaw, the lack of parking, therefore, equip yourself with small change to pay for parking which among other things is quite expensive, 2.50 for the first hour and 3.50 for the following hours.....

We only spent New Year's Eve here. Simple, clean and basic room. The only flaw is the little water that flowed from the bidet. Excellent location, a few steps from Piazza dei Miracoli and the Arno river. The outdoor location of the restaurant is very nice where you eat, but we didn't use it. Rating 6.5/7

Great location to the leaning tower of Pisa. Friendly staff. The rooms could do with some TLC, I have to say it was one of the worst mattresses we have stayed on, very hard, could feel the springs and uncomfortable which unfortunately affected our sleep. For the price of one night i felt breakfast could of been included. It is noisy at night with noise coming from outside and other guests coming in to their room.
