Stayed for 1 night in this Hotel after 2 nights in Florence. We arrived on the train and it is a 10 min walk, be wary, the station area has a few dodgy characters, however more to the point the Hotel was beutifully decorated, the rooms were spacey, cosy, comfortable and fantastic value if you can book early enough, also...

We chose this hotel as it was central and offered Protected Parking. We found the staff very helpful and the hotel elegant . Our room was small but quiet and nicely appointed. We good excellent restaurant recommendations; a generous breakfast was included in the price. We would book here again.

Have just returned from a four night stay at the Bologna and we absolutely loved it. The room was not huge, but big enough with an extremely comfortable bed. The free water and tea and coffee making facilities were a nice touch. it is in an excellent location, about 10minutes walk from the station and 20 minutes to the tower....

When we were shown our room it had a sewage smell and was very hot, it was room 314. When i tried to use air conditioning it was set for heat only. Complained to deck staff, said hotel full and came up and closed window. Had a terrible nights sleep due to heat, had to sleep with no covers for...

After our stay in Florence we came here for 2 nights before flying home. The hotel is about a 5-10 min walk from the station, at the river end of Via Mazzini. We were shown to our room, no. 18, as the hotel is actually set over 2 or 3 small buildings. The room was nicely decorated and although a...

Beautiful decore throughout the hotel. Approximately 20 minutes walk from the Leaning Tower & centre of town. Also Shopping & restaurant street within 5 minute walk.

Stayed for 2 nights in Hotel Bologna and had a fantastic time. Located near to the main shopping street, 10 mins walk to Train Station and 15mins in the other direction to the Leaning Tower. Very close to all other attractions. Lovely restaurants nearby. When first walking about, it looks like there is nothing around but when you start wandering...

Booked this hotel through Octopus and got fantastic price. Stayed one night prior to return to UK. Hotel is in a "quiet" street but the amenties were excellent. We stayed in the "annexe" and the room was huge. Compared to Siena and Florence bar prices were very competitive, despite the exchange rate. The staff were very friendly and helpful -...

A gem of a hotel. Great location for the train and bus station and within easy walking distance of the town centre. The bedrooms were beautifully decoarted and the bathroom huge. The little extras completed the stay. We got a really good deal on the bedroom but, don't buy drinks from the bar - they are a bit pricey. The...
