We really enjoyed staying here. The room was very comfortable and there is a generous buffet breakfast with fresh coffee. La Mimosa is about 5-10 minutes from the main square located just outside the city wall, so very convenient.

Really lovely little hotel, I know technically a b and b , but I couldn't tell you the difference. A short walk from the city wall , lovely and quiet, quirky rooms and a lovely breakfast. I would definitely recommend this.

Before writing this review I've spent some time reading what other guests wrote before me. First of all I am used to travel a lot either for business or fun. When you approach a B&B you know you're not going to stay into a 5 starred premium hotel so I really do not understand certain "average-ratings" reviews I've read about...

Nice friendly place with a little garden that you can have your breakfast in, also sit in when the little bar is open. Lucca is a lovely interesting city with lots of lovely places to eat and has concerts in the church as its the birth place of Puccini. So if you go to Lucca this is a good place...

B&B La Mimosa is a gem. It's conveniently located--a 10-minute walk from Lucca centro and the train station--the rooms are extremely clean, with excellent WiFi and AC; the staff is friendly, welcoming, helpful and efficient. The breakfast is delicious, with a vast amount of fresh fruit; they have a bar coffee maker with which Lucia, the owner, makes excellent great...

We spend there just one night, but it was one of the best hotels we had during our 2 weeks trip in Italy. Quiet location but only a few minutes away from the historic old town, friendly staff and a lovely breakfast (ham, cheese, tasty fresh juices and much more...)!

This was a very pleasant place to stay for a few nights whilst we wondered around Lucca. Located a 2 minute walk from the walls and very close to a couple of handy shops and a very good restaurant. Staff lovely and friendly, breakfast ok but I'll always miss toast when it's not available! Our room was massive on the...

I had read all the great reviews but when I got here I wondered if I had the right place. Yes, the breakfast was lovely and the owner friendly. However, I had a room facing the street and it was very noisy. Even wearing earplugs I had a hard time sleeping. Also, the curtains are sheer and do not block...

We loved staying at La Mimosa B & B. It was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Giuseppe was very welcoming and friendly and spoke excellent English. He gave us ideas on good places to eat and free use of their bicycles. They are located near the bus station. Short walk to wall of city. Easy little city to...
