Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

The hotel is in a quite area, the staff is very helpful. The rooms are so lovely, the bathroom is amazing, the morning breakfast is lovely. And the SPA is awesome. Nothing like a time on a spa all by yourself after walking the city. The mood and the facilities are over the top

We stayed here in May for my 60th birthday. What a beautiful building which looks to have been modernised to a very high standard. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, modern bathroom and air conditioning. The room had original high ceiling with painting. We had our breakfast out on the veranda each morning, which was self service and the waitress would serve tea/coffee. Plenty of choices from cereal/yogurt/fruit, cold meats/cheese/salad, pastries/cake and hot food eggs/sausage/bacon. All staff were very friendly and helpful, suggesting places to eat and visit. The spa facility was very nice and looked new. Would stay here again if we come back to Florence and would recommend to others.

A warm welcome awaits you on arrival. This small hotel is a lovely place to stay because the staff are amazing, it is close to central Florence but far enough away to feel like a quiet place to chill. The hotel has a lovely garden set amongst very old trees and this is where you can enjoy breakfast or you can eat in the dining room. Without exception all the staff are extremely helpful, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We enjoyed our junior suite room with a balcony overlooking the the garden. Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to returning one day soon.

Thankful to a cousin and her husband from California of their nice gesture to visit their assigned room in this hidden gem 2 yrs ago while in Florence at the same time. No hesitation to book Palazzo Lorenzo for one more trip to Florence 2nd week of Sept last year. With all the excellent reviews, not disappointed to stay in this modern, chic, and well-maintained 4-star hotel. Assigned room was spacious, with all amenities , veeery clean and big bathroom (love the design and being a clean freak, was impressed with the spic and span cleanliness of the well-designed bathroom), with Aqua di Parma toiletries for hotel guests!! Good breakfast items served in the hotel's nice garden, the negative side was the waiting time to be served as there was only one server. It would have been a different story if the buffet breakfast was in the breakfast room. Anyhow, it was understandable at such time of the pandemic. A consolation that the front desk staff are very friendly, helpful and obliging, esp Helena who attended to us to get the car out of the parking lot. Will definitely come back when we visit Florence again sometime!

Florence centre is a very busy place and it was nice to stay just a little bit back from it (15 min walk). The service in the hotel was really good with those at the front desk and breakfast friendly and happy to help with any request. Hotel seems recently renovated We would return and would recommend.

This hotel was great for our 2 night stay in Florence. This hotel offers a good, comfortable and clean place to sleep and amazing accessibility to some of Florence’s great attractions during your visit. We enjoyed our stay in our room. Good wifi, Nespresso machine, big, spacious bathroom and a comfortable bed. A few items to note - this hotel advertised parking, but there was no parking available when we arrived at check in time. This was frustrating after a 7 hour drive. However, we were able to find parking a 15 minute walk away, which actually ended up being cheaper than the price we would have paid at Palazzo Lorenzo. The spa was also not available when we arrived - as it required prior booking. Make sure that you pre-book parking (notify them that you will need it) and reserve a time at the spa if you want to use these amenities.

Absolutely loved this hotel! This has to be the cleanest, shiniest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Beautifully decorated and smells amazing. All staff very friendly and helpful. Bedroom small but expected with comfortable bed, lovely toiletries and shower good, again small but with plenty of hot water. Good variety of fresh continental breakfast which was lovely to be able to eat outside. Use of the beautiful spa was a treat and we wished we had taken advantage of this more. Location approx 15 min walk to main sights Only thing needed is air con. Would def recommend this hotel it has been a very pleasant stay here.

Comfortable room but traffic noise a problem - take ear plugs! Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. Good wi-fi. A Nespresso machine in the room but no instructions on how to use it- had to resort to google. There is a spa but check it is included in your package. 20 minutes to the Duomo. Some nice restaurants nearby.

This charming and delightful hotel is ideally situated within easy walking distance of the historic famous attraction of the city centre. The rooms are individually styled and boast all modern conveniences such as wifi within the elegance of their surroundings. Well stocked courtesy tray for that extra tea or coffee, minifridge ,and gorgeous toiletries of Florence's own "Agua Parma" scent. Delicious meals can be taken in the restaurant or al fresco and the garden has its own grapefruit tree, used at breakfast for perfect freshness. A welcome pack provided maps, masks (in these covid sensitive times) and useful information about the Spa. The staff are delightful with the warmest of welcomes, friendliness and positive attitude to helping with the smallest of enquiries. I could not have been more impressed and will certainly be returning to stay at the Palazzo Lorenzo. Thank you to all who made my stay such a joy.
