Very well kept and clean Palazzo in the 1st floor. Lift is available. Nice sized room. The Hotel is located at the Duomo street and lot of shops. Walking distance to all the main attactions and to the Train Station SMN.

This little old-style hotel has located in a perfect place. Even though towards the streets there was no annoying noise coming through. It is very clean and it has enough space for up to two persons in the room. Very good price and very very helpful staff. I definitely recommend this hotel in beautiful Florence.

The Battistero House was fantastic.I stayed here with my husband an daughter and was so impressed with this place. The price of this accommodation is cheap so I wasnt expecting the level of comfort and cleanliness it provided. It is literally a 20 metre walk to the Duomo which just blows you away when you first lay eyes on it...

One of the most comfortable room we had during this trip in Italy, though a small hotel with few rooms that looks more like a residential apartment. It is less than 10mins walk from the SMN train station via the underground walkway instead of crossing the busy street, but beware that there is no elevator when you exit from the...

I recently stayed here for 2 nights. We arrived later in the evening and had received information on how to get into the property by email. They were clear instructions and we got into the property and our room without hassle. The hotel is on a busy street (with the Duomo about 100 yards away!) but once we were in...

My husband and i stayed at this hotel in September and it was absolutely fantastic. The location of this hotel cannot be beaten. 5 min walk to santa maria novella station and a 10 seconds to get to duomo. Absolutely best location ever. Gabriella at the reception is wonderful and she ensures you have a comfortable stay. She was extremely...

Stayed here a year ago and recently returned. Every bit as good as last time. The location is perfect and the place a real bargain. It is almost like a self contained appartment. Look out for a sister property opening soon.

Traveling from South Korea, I wanted to try out guesthouse other than Korean one. Have compared all the price for single rooms which I prefer and it was fair. Even though I stayed for only 1 night, the owner had set up everything prior to my arrival(directions, maps, keys, misc explanation) which made my trip so efficient. Thank him for...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
