Excellent location. Guido was a friendly and amazing host. Very beautiful room. Excellent value. Just a few blocks from the Duomo and in walking distance to all that you want to see. An easy walk from the train station. Definitely the nicest room we stayed in while on our trip to Italy. Florence is a must and so is B&B...

My husband and I were due to stay at Cavour 10 as part of our wedding anniversary trip to Italy, with just over a week until we visit we had to cancel our booking. Our flight arrives at 8.30pm and we advised Cavour we will be there at 9.30pm, however they cannot accommodate this request and told us to cancel....

We stayed only one night because the B&B was fully booked after, we wanted a well located accomoations with all comforts as a hotel (wifi, breakfast, parking service, assistence) but without having to spend too much. We looked up in booking.com andd found this B&B; we were happily surprised that for that price we got to stay in an awesome...

This B&B is in the perfect location in the center of Florence. Mr Guido was very friendly and accommodating, the room was out of this world. The attention to detail was amazing.I would definitely stay there again.

After spending several nights in this lovely property located within walking distance of all major attractions and the train station, we agree that this unique, charming, comfortable B&B is the best ever. Owner Guido was warm and welcoming, delivering a scrumptious breakfast directly to our room every morning. Loved hearing the church bells peal in the morning and finding tons...

Perfect central location, a couple of minutes walk from the Duomo. The room was very clean, spacious and nicely furnished. And Guido was an accommodating host, very thoughtful and always available. Greatly enhanced my first visit to Florence. Thank you!

Unforgettable experience. Guido, the owner was so nice and went out of his way to make us welcomed and feel special. We were treated like family. Perfect location. The only bad thing was having to leave. Seriously, stay here.

Love, love, love this place! Beautiful room, with all of the amenities, incredibly warm hosts, central location, and great price. I cannot say enough how helpful the hosts were with anything that we needed, even making us dinner reservations (beyond delicious food!). I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The BB is in a good location. The lady Latsi is very nice and helpful but the atmosphere and building is disapointing. Poor breakfast. You get what you pay. It is dificult to get someone to help you,if you arrive in the afternoon nobody is there.

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
