Comfortable, contains everything you need and quiet (we had the room at the back of the building and backed onto a courtyard). This was our first B&B experience and we are glad it was with Guido at his B&B. We felt at home because of his wonderful hospitality. The room was beautifully decorated with traditional florentine flavor. Amenities were great. We loved the little balcony of our room & spent the evening there drinking & chatting once our 7 year old was...

This B&B is absolutely amazing-the location is perfect, Guido is an amazing host that is gracious and generous beyond belief, and the room was immaculate. I could not have asked for a more comfortable place to stay and right down the street from everywhere you want to be in Florence. Can't wait to return and stay again!

Large blue room and very large bathroom reached through grand stained glass door arch. High painted ceilings, extremely quiet room, mini bar and small fridge with every tea and coffee making item provided. Super congenial host, keen to assist in any way.

i stayed at Guido's wonderful B&B for two nights this month and can only sing his praises. The location couldn't have been better. I loved the rooms (i stayed in two different ones) and the friendliness offered. Wholeheartedly recommend and will definitely return - this time to enjoy the remaining room at the back of the property.

Cavour 10 is a hidden gem! Very small (3 rooms) but very big on service. Anything you should need, Guido will help you, from restaurant reservations, directions to a specific place or the number of the bus you need to get to a particular area of town. The location is perfectly situated near the Duomo, the open market, and the...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
