Residenza Castiglioni is a beautiful, well managed B&B in the very centre of Florence. The hotel's main features are certainly the exquisite decorated walls and ceilings with different themes on each of the spacious rooms. Although there is not a great view from the windows (only side lane glimpses), laying on the very comfortable bed and admiring the unusual frescos was...

Close to the train station and the duomo, this small hotel is perfect for discovering Florence. Ask for one of the larger rooms and you will be rewarded with impressive 15th century frescoes decorating the walls. In addition, the room was well heated (necessary in Dec), bathroom stocked with large towels and very clean. It may get a bit noisy...

Lets not compare this with a 5 star hotel, it doesn't pretend to be one. What you get for your money is a very spacious room, a convenient location if u are taking the train and owners who wants to please. I would stay here, but in a smaller room because it's will be really good for that price. This...

We too arrived at the train station and easily walked to the hotel. The location is great ...close to the leather market, shops, restaurants, museums and Duomo. The room we had was very spacious and the ceilings were awesome. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly and helpful. We took a late train and were able to leave our luggage...

Dear Donna, Thank you very much for your appreciation; we always try to do our best to satisfy our guests expectation. For what wifi is concerned, in some hours of the day the connection is a little bit slow, due to overcharge of connecting people. We are presently working to strengthen the Internet. We booked a junior suite as we are a family of four. The room was lovely, clean and welcoming. A little noise at night but only to be expected if you want to stay right in the city. A great position as getting to all the sites are a short walk away. Breakfast was lovely and people very helpful. Sara R

The residenza castiglioni was the perfect b& b for our two nights in Florence. Rooms was perfect, overlooking the bustling streets below, decor was very overwhelming with color and texture, but perfectly suited to Italian culture. perfect hosts with lovely continental breakfast. Put it on your list if visiting Florence!
