Had a great stay at the Katti House. Was in and out of the city over 2 weeks, so we had a chance to stay at all of the properties. Modern, renovated bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Super location near SMN station, Mercato Centrale and Duomo. Walkable to ALL other sites. Good breakfasts. Would go again! Also, Trattoria Katti was a fine...

A three minute walk from Il Duomo and the heart of Florence, Katti House was very comfortable and exactly what my wife and I needed. There was a bit of a language barrier, as the employees don't speak much English, but we navigated that just fine. The rooms were on the larger side when compared to some of our other...

I stayed here with my wife and two children (21 & 16). Great location, near the market and walkable to all sights and the train station. Met Katti at check in, she was very efficient and friendly and spoke excellent english. They had a great breakfast with a very pleasant hostess (never got her name) and appreciated the fact that...

My mom and I stayed here for 5 nights and truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms was clean and quiet and we were grateful for the A/C. The lovely host Maria was very helpful in organizing a trip to cinq terre. Even with a language barrier, kindness and patience prevails :) The location was perfect and the price was right....

I feel bad putting down this place, so I'll start with what's good. The location: it's ten minutes from everything, between the train station and the Duomo. Cheap: We paid 85 euros a night, which is amazing for central Florence. A/C: the air conditioner actually worked! Quiet: Unbelievable that on a busy, noisy pedestrian strip you get such a sound-proofed...

True Italians who really care about their business and their city. We will only stay here on our future trips to Florence because we feel like one of the family. Anna Maria, her husband, and her daughter Katti are the real deal and they are open to conversation and any special requests. It is obvious that they are proud of...

We really enjoyed our stay here at Katti House in Florence. We stated for a few nights and it was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Maria was so nice and helpful as well. And the restaurant was delicious as well. We got a steak and it was huge! Would come back again!

I wish there was a rating between "average" and "very good," since average sounds like a negative, but this B&B was a good value, and an easy walk to the Duomo. As others have said, the owner speaks very little English, which made it a bit confusing when, after taking our bags up the stairs to the check in area,...

My two daughters and I reserved one night at Katti House. Got a good rate with cash payment as a Rick Steves recommendation. Good communication via email. We were disappointed to learn that we had to stay at the nearby B&B not Katti House. The woman helping us did not know the internet connection code, spoke little english, and said...
