Althea Rooms is a small B&B just outside of the bustling centre of Florence. The location is near Santo Spirito and amongst many students and locals and outside the "tourist" comings and goings which made this stay wonderful. Plus, we ate at 3 restaurants in the area which served wonderful food and slightly less than in the city centre. It's...

The B&B is well situated and the rooms are perfect (clean, internet connection, tv, king size beds, etc.), so, taking into account the low price, you have one of the best quality/relation balances in Florence. However, the best characteristic of the Althea Rooms are Antonio and Maura, who managed the B&B. They’re extremely kind and will help you whatever the...

Althea Rooms was the perfect place to stay at in Florence. We were there for only one night, but wished we stayed for at least two nights. The room was located on the first floor, large, and clean. A mini fridge, tv, computer with internet, mini safe were all very convenient to have. Breakfast was available, but we had to...

Great location - convenient to all the sights, yet somewhat removed from the throngs of tourists. Rooms are spacious, although bathrooms (particularly showers) are so small you feel like you're on a boat. Everything is very clean. Breakfast is served in room (coffee, juice, croissants, packaged cookies) as there is no breakfast room. Eating in the room is a litle...

The rooms were clean and extremely comfortable as was the bathroom, spotless. Breakfast was nice with enough to see you through until lunch. Some nice features are the...

We booked our stay at the Althea Rooms through Cross Pollinate for a 5 night stay in October. The location is excellent - close to the palace and within walking distance to all the attractions. It's on a nice quiet road, away from all the hustle and bustle but still close to cafes, shops and restaurants. The staff are very...

Booked directly from their website. Great communication from the beginning. The room has a small fridge, a computer with free internet access and all other necessities. Nothing fancy, but safe and clean. Would definitely come back again.

Althea is only about 10 mins from the centre of town and 20 mins from the station by foot. It is about 3mins from a square with cafes bars and a fresh veg market. When we arrived we were given maps, hints on good local resturants (we tried them and they were great!), a list of phone numbers for most...

Althea rooms is a small B&B located near the Pitti Palace. It was the perfect location for us as it was away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas while being a very short walk to all the main sites. While there is nothing luxurious about the rooms, they were clean and had everything that you would...
