Italy is one of my favorite country and florence is my favorite place, probably better than Veince . Hotel Adam is very centrally located to all important destinations that you would like to visit in florence. Pretty much walkable from florence train station as well. We reached Firenze late night and had a tough time finding this hotel. Had to pass through some deserted streets and felt worried about the area. But once you clear that, the hotel is located in a residential building very close to a main square in Firenze. The hotel probably does not have a 24 hr reception and the lady... More

Went for five nights, 7-12 December , slightly daunted by some of the adverse website comments so were a bit put off be the dreary concrete stairs with no lift, but if you're not reasonably fit should you be going to Florence anyway, or perhaps go on a package holiday where they can carry you about. Okay...this hotel is on the 3rd or 4th floor of a residential building( No elevator). Its about a 10 min walk from Santa Maria Novella train station in the Centro area and about a 2 blocks from Via Tournabuoni.
