I was travelling with a group from my college for a Renaissance Art class, so I did not have a say in choosing accommodations. Therefore, I will try to speak only to the quality of the hotel itself, and not touch on costs. The location of this hotel is ideal - you are down the street from the central markets,...

This hotel has a very central location, and you spend no more than 5 minutes walk to the train station and to the Duomo. The breakfast was very nice and the staff was also very friendly, even for very simple requests.

Hotel Accademia was exactly the hotel we hoped for! It is situated in a perfect location-- five minutes or less to the Duomo, fifteen to Ponte Vecchio, eight to the train station, and really in walking distance to absolutely everywhere we went during our five-day stay in Florence. The staff was very friendly, the room and bathroom were very good,...

Absolutely best option in Firenze. The entrance of the hotel is just 80m from entrance to Medici Capelle, 10 minutes walking distance to the Dome. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs and trattorias just nearby. The staff was very helpful, breakgast was tasty and enough (buns, cheese, ham - fresh, selection of coffees could be ordered at the staff). Rooms...

Half the way between the train station and the center of Florence, this hotel offers you a nice and friendly stay. Just next to the Medici chapels and S. Lorenzo, you can walk anywhere in Florence within 15m. Great time for us and in 3 days we were able to visit all the monuments, museums and touristic attractions. The hotel...

A perfectly situated hotel, right near san lorenzo market and a walking distance from the dumo. Very nice and friendly staff. The rooms are simple and provide you with everything you need. For those arriving with a car- there is a very close parking garage located 50 m from the hotel called "Giglio Garage" located at Via Del Giglio, 24....

I stayed for two nights at this very interesting hotel right in the Center of Florence, minutes from the Duomo, Accademia where David is, and all of the splendours of this fabulous city. It is on a pedestrian only street which is lined with Trattorias, cafes and tourists. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast buffet adequate. There are,...

Stayed here for 2 days. What it lacks in modern conveniences like an elevator, it more than makes up by its superb location. It is centrally located and close to everything you have to see/do in Florence. Room was very ample with all the conviniences you need.

. It was very hot and humid air con in rooms ok. Breakfast ok. I guess there are rooms overlooking the street, however. Mine was overlooking the little service courtyard. Almost no light. Good value if ur staying up to two nights. Close to everything, SMN train station just scroll away. Very handy location to explore Florence on foot.

The hotel offers everything you need for a city trip to Florence. Its great location is unbeatable due to its central situation. Its not too busy but you reach all sightseeings in the old town very easily by walking. The central train station is just around the corner (max. 7 min walking distance). The rooms are basic, efficient and clean....
