I would definitely go back to this hotel in Florence. It was in an excellent location where I could walk to all my tours within 15 minutes and have access to plenty of shopping/food. The room and bathroom were very clean. There was a tiny...More

San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.

there is no Uber option in Florence. Walking from santa Maria novella train station is about 12 minutes. Out of the station you need to go right, straight on to the Duomo ( the main cathedral), before it , on you left ,there is a large street called Via Martelli, wich after the fisrt part becomes Via cavour, where we are. Keep walking until n.21 blue, where Leonardo da Vinci Museum is . On the second floor is the hotel. Otherwise a taxi will cost 15 euro more or less.Kind regards,
