Stayed here last December on Christmas day, this wasn't a BAD place by any means but just distinctly average. Very old building, old elevator that you have to climb a flight of stairs to get to and average reception and average rooms. WIFI was only in the reception areas, didn't reach the rooms unfortunately. On the plus side the location... More

I was shocked and almost appalled by the worst reception and service in the hotel. The receptionist didn't say any greetings or the simplest words such as welcome or hello upon our arrivak. What is worse, he has been mean to us during our stay and another receptionist was offensive during our checkout.

Stayed with friends for a night. About a 10 minute walk from the train station. I was surprised that the room was so huge. The hotel is very old so the elevator only has room for 1 person and luggage...lol. Plus you have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the elevator then you go to the... More

For the price, this place is amazing! The location is the best factor. It is next to the central market; where you can find some amazing food, and next to the duomo. It's safe during the day and night. You will have lots of food options nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. It's quiet, but I can imagine that... More

Was in Florence for an extended stay visiting study abroad friends. Hotel is located outside of Centrale mercato which is a good location to access historical part of Florence. Our room was enjoyable but the bathroom made a loud noise when the light was on. The hotel staff was very aggressive about our friend going up to the room as... More

Pros: Hotel Regina is in a good location (i.e., a few blocks from the main bus and train station, as well as a few blocks away from some top Florence tourist attractions). This was by far the least expensive lodging we paid for. Simple and small, but clean room. Cons: Shortly after arriving to the hotel, I took a shower.... More

The price of this well-located, yet economical hotel lured us (me and my wife) here. The hotel owner looked rude when he said, "Never put your bags on the bed"... no sooner than he handed over the keys to us, but in an hour, we realized the owner was not rude, but indeed oh-so caring!! yes... the beds in Hotel Regina... I am extremely displeased and frustrated with this hotel. Even though I had booked a room with an ensuite bathroom, when we arrived there we were shown to a room without bathroom. When we complained to the staff, we were told that unfortunately, all the rooms with a private bathroom were already occupied. The receptionist then told us that we... More
