It was cheap and cheerful. Nothing special about this hotel. It was very well placed for exploring Florence and close to public transport. The wifi only works near reception and you can't use it after midnight. The breakfast is very basic bread, crackers and cheese and a croissant. No fruit or meats like your usual Italian breakfast. I wouldn't stay...

I booked this stupidly for a three day break with my wife. I then read the reviews. ARGHHHHHH. Schoolboy error. I had a plan B if things were correct on tripadvisor. How true were they. We entered on ground floor and as we walked up the stairs in pitch black as there was no light my wife fell over. We...

We stayed here for two nights after spending 3 nights at slightly cheaper, comparable (on the face of it) accommodation in Rome. I'll split the rest of this review into the good and bad points separately. THE GOOD Hotel Regina is situated well. Not bang in the middle of Florence, but only a short walk from the Duomo. Florence isn't...

Ripoff with holes in walls and non English speaking staff, unfriendly. I wonder where the hotel/tourist tax went I had to pay in ?Cash? One lightbulb in the room, no hanging facilities for wet towels. Dirty expensive "hotel". My advice is go somewhere else.

The hotel is walking distance from the station and also from the Cathedral and other central locations. We got a decent size room. The centralized heating (we were there in winters) was extreme and we had to open our windows to sleep. Must mention that the breakfast is quiet below standrad both in terms of quality and quantity.

We got lucky with getting one of the best rooms in the building. So I can't complain. They did over do it with the bleach in our bathroom. The room was very clean. I didn't like the bathroom set up. I did see other rooms. It look like you were sleeping in a closet. With this being a short notice...

The pictures that are here in Tripadvisor are not very accurate. We stayed at a room that was so small that we were almost sleeping with our bags on top of us. THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING. It is VERY HOT IN THERE. The rooms and the building are very old. The BREAKFAST INCLUDED is very poor: cookies, butter, one...

I'll start with positive things. This hotel is located near very beautiful Duomo. There is a shop also. Unfortunately, rooms are very little, WC is not that clean.. and no beautiful view. Wifi connection is good only near reception. In the rooms wifi is awful. I didn' like this hotel, but I really got inlove with the city 😍😍

Just Location, the rest was very simple, poor and bad. Big room, not clean, but a wonderful point to start your visit to Firenze ! Just a few steps of the downtown Florence and the San Lorenzo Market and area reach in cafes and restaurants
