We stayed at the Hotel Botticelli for three nights at the start of our Tuscan adventure. This is a great little hotel that is tucked away in a discreet corner near the central covered market. It is close (walkable) to the train station and provides...More
Some hotels go out of their way to be welcoming and very attentive, Hotel Botticelli is more functional. If you accept that you are just another punter on a 3 day break all is well.

San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.

thank you for your message and your interest in our hotel. A buffet breakfast served every morning between 7.15 and 10.00 is included in the rates. The rates also include all taxes except for the Florence City Tax (Euro 3.50 per person per night) which is not included and is to be paid directly at the hotel upon departure. From Florence airport (Aeroporto Amerigo Vespucci) you can either catch the shuttle bus "Vola in Bus" (Euro 5 per person one way or Euro 8 per person return) or a taxi. Taxis have a fixed rate from the airport to the centre of Florence of Euro 20 (Euro 22 on Sundays and holidays; Euro 23 between 10 pm and 5.59 am) plus Euro 1 per piece of luggage.
