Very friendly staff, excellent location near station and walking distance to major sights. Be aware no lift to 2nd floor but did not worry us. Receptionist gave recommendation for a local restaurant. Would certainly stay again.
An average hotel close to the train station and well located. We had a comfortable stay here. You can walk to all attractions from here. Though there were street noises since our room was facing the road. They had a decent breakfast, nothing fancy but...More
Friendly, clean family-run hotel with great rooms. Its situatuation in central Florence means that you can walk to any of the city's attractions. Really close to the wonderful central market and leather markets. Great breakfast and lovely coffee. Will definitely return for another trip.

San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.

The hotel is a short walk to the train station, so would be possible to get a train to the airport (check online) at that time. The reception is manned 24/7 so I am sure they will be able to call you a taxi no problem. Maybe speak to them the evening before you leave and see if they can pre-order you one.
