My husband and I had a wonderful trip to Italy.
Without a doubt spending 6 nights in a 1865 Rezidenza d’epoca was a highlight while staying in Florence. Located in residential area within walking distance from everything, incredibly comfortable, different, decorated with exceptional taste and...More

It's not just a bed and breakfast, it's a home; it's not just a home, it's a boutique hotel. Each room is unique, the hosts couldn't be nicer, the scrambled eggs are literally the best scrambled eggs I've, ever had, and the the value is...More

Stop and stare at the beauty and symmetry of the Basilica of Santa Croce any time day or night. Unraveling around it are a number of architectural and artistic masterpieces, from the Synagogue to the Central National Library. As a hub for young people, the area gets busy with people who want to have fun: a continuous flow of tourists and locals become animated by songs and dances.

Apologies for the delay in replying. It takes about 20-25 mins from the airport in a taxi. We arrived by train from Venice and it was only a 10 minute ride from the train station. When flying home, it couldn't have been easier - there is a button you press in the hotel and a taxi turned up 10 minutes later. I think it was about €25 with a tip.
I would thoroughly recommend this place.
