For many years, at least ten, my husband and I have stayed at the "Guelfo Bianco" in Florence. It's a three star hotel with four star quality! Every pretty room is different, and has some artistic accents, so you can look around and decide which suits you. We always get one of the superior rooms with a double sink in...

Dear Lacostaflower, thanks very much for your review. We really appreciate the nice words you had for our hotel. Regarding your suggestion I wish to inform you that we choose to offer yoghurt in a large bowl because the this kind of yoghurt we offer is a very good quality and the supplier is selling it in large boxes and...

The rooms here are impressively large, we had a small suite, and clean. The soundproofing keeps out traffic noise from the rooms facing the road. All of the staff we dealt with were really friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was varied and tasty and was constantly replenished. The location is ideal, just a few minutes walk to all of...

Il Guelfo Bianco is a very charming, beautiful hotel in a great location in Florence. We were never more than a few minutes walk to all the sights; even the train station. I can't say enough good things about the staff - so friendly and helpful! I have a very sensitive gluten allergy. While all the hotels in Italy I...

The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was large, well suplied and convinent. We were three in the room, and felt that we acually recieved a suite with enough space and privecy to all. Breakfast was included and was...

My room was a superior room and for EU standards was very big. Breakfast is included which is delicious and the waiter is very attentive! ALL...

We stayed here for two nights in February. I had booked a deluxe room and was amazed when we arrived it was HUGE. More like a suite than a room and spotlessly clean. Fantastic value for money and the staff were great - really helpful. The location is brilliant - an easy stroll to all the sites you would want...

This hotel ticked all boxes. Superb location, friendly, helpful staff and lovely through out. The room was spotlessly clean and brilliant value for money. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Florence and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Over the last 10 years I have had the pleasure of staying at Il Guelfo Bianco a number of times. Great central location, yet still a quiet place to rest and recharge. Stylish and clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff (fluent in English but always gracious and encouraging if you want to try out some Italian) who can point you...

This is a three star hotel with five star service. Every member of the team understand what service excellence is - and they deliver it consistently. We stayed with friends in three rooms - each was spotlessly clean, had individual charm and character and remained wonderfully warm during the -4 degrees weekend. Having read some of the poor comments, I...
