We stayed in the junior sweet. This hotel is one of my favorites in italy, 0 complaints. The rooms are tall and cozy. Our room had the old style shutters that look out onto the street as well as interior shutters that are sure to keep out cold air and daylight. The bathroom is clean and spacious, the carpets are... Despite our hesitation in accepting a street-facing room, we experienced the most effective window sound proofing in all of our travels. Our room faced Via Cavour, a very busy street to the Duomo with no problem sleeping (and we are light sleepers). In addition to the quietness of the room, we found the staff responsive, helpful and friendly. The breakfast... More

Very nice hotel with a great staff. Room was large and very comfortable. Location was walking distance from the train station and easy walk to the Duomo and other major sites. The staff was very pleasant. Only complaint was that the lobby area and breakfast was too crowded when there were large student tour groups in the hotel.

My colleagues and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel last month - we had only a couple days and the staff helped us to prioritize all the sights to see and get bookings to avoid the lines! Even got us a dinner reservation same night for Aqua al due, a popular restaurant! Hope to visit again and would... More

We enjoyed our recent stay at Il Guelfo Bianco: friendly staff, great location, beautiful furnishings and artwork, plus a wonderful attached restaurant (5 stars on Yelp). We ended up eating there twice - once when arrived (for convenience) and then again when we were looking for a nice dinner. A nice surprise! The only negative is that we had a... More

I have stayed at this Hotel 5 times now - I love it! It is clean, the rooms are big, it is 2 min walk to the Dorma, comfortable beds, all the rooms are different and unique. The Hotel contains an incredible art collection - I understand they are the owners personal collection. And the stand out, helpful, friendly staff... More

Amazing location, just down the street from the Duomo. Firenze is a very walkable city, and we definitely did a lot of that! Front desk personnel were all very friendly and helpful anytime we had a question. In fact, they even lent us a fan when my husband was overheated from so much walking. (There is AC but usually not... More

We had a very large room overlooking the street. So quiet with the double windows. No noise whatsoever. Room was lovely. The front desk was so helpful and gave wonderful recommendations for restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I just finished a stay at this hotel for 4 nights (Oct 17 - 21) and enjoyed our stay very much. It is convenient location and easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The room was a good size and comfortable. The breakfast was good and offered enough variety that we enjoyed over 4 mornings. One... More

We booked this hotel about 8 months before going to Florence and I remember agonizing over the choice of hotel - but we made the right choice in Il Guelfo Bianco. Our room was spacious with a high ceiling which made it comfortable and airy. We had a huge and very comfortable bed! The size and spaciousness of the room... More
