This is a very useful hotel at the south end of the Ponte Vecchio well situated for seeing Florence. Ours was a de luxe room of reasonable size and with a large balcony overlooking the street. The bathroom was small but well equipped and the fittings were modern and clean. There was plenty of storage space, both for hanging and...

Stay for 3 nights in this hotel perfectly located in the heart of Florence. I picked this hotel because of its location and was not disappointed. The rooms are clean and have everything one needs for a pleasant stay in this fab city. A nice touch was that on the door to each room were some pictures giving a view...

Dear Guest I am happy to read your comment and see that you noticed our pictures on the room door! We thought that it would have been nice if even before entering the room, we tell our guest what you can see from the window, it could be a beautiful view over the Vasari Corridor or simply the palace in...

We spent our first night in Italy at this charming hotel. We were a party of 10 and had reserved 3 rooms which they had ready for us. Each room was exactly as it had looked on the website, and they had provided a baby bed and another fold-away bed as I had requested. I had picked up a bag...

The Pitti is located in part of an ancient tower, and the location draws you into the heart of historic Florence. With the Ponte Vecchio at you doorstep, you can stroll to the Uffizi, or the reverse direction to the huge Pitti Palace itself. Julian in the bar was great, and while the morning breakfast with great views are what...

Positioned at the end of the Ponte Vecchio overlooking the city from the roof top terrace, this small hotel offers the perfect spot for exploring Florence. Hotel is good value, simple, quiet, clean and offers an adequate breakfast. The evening ' tasting plates' of local cheese, salami and wine well worth the cost; a great way to relax at the end...

We stayed here for 3 nights in June. The best part of this hotel is it's location, price, and rooftop terrace. However, the room we stayed in had a mattress that was as a hard as rock and pillows that were as flat as pancakes. We didn't sleep for 3 nights. The room was clean but was dark and didn't...

Stayed here in early June 2012. Room was clean, nicely kept and though weather outside was warm, air conditioning kept things comfortable. Staff was helpful in recommending tours and answering other questions as they came up. View from the terrace at breakfast was great. Location is close to everything.

...that is very well placed, really at the end (or the top) of Ponte Vecchio. Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
