We stayed here for three nights. The staff are absolutely fantastic. We had a problem with our room (something wrong with the drains in the bathroom) and it was sorted out straightaway and we were moved to a different room. Sadly the weather wasn't great so we weren't able to enjoy the pool but the garden was very pretty. There...

We stayed 2 nights in the hotel which is a beautifully appointed old, large villa. Well situated in the hillside south of the river but with easy access to the centre. Best by bus but also walkable, although a bit of a climb back. Receptionists, especially Samuel and Guillianna were incredibly helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are...

Stayed three nights at this hotel recently. Hotel staff was excellent and so helpful in clearing up a mix-up about our room reservations, had our room ready with a baby cot before we even got there, and helped guide us with tourist tips. Location is about a 20 min walk downhill (meaning you have to walk uphill on the way...

A lot of what this hotel is NOT makes it special, NOT plastic identikit chain, NOT stuck in a tiny road in the middle of 24 hr traffic, NOT crazily expensive. This is a twenty minute walk out of the centre or about 15 euros in a taxi but takes you up above all the craziness of a medieval town...

The park palace hotel in Florence Italy is located in a beautifully wooded area above many parks which connect to the Pizzi Palace. It's location is beautiful, yet accessible by cab on foot or bus to the center of Florence. Here's what we liked about it: it was like stepping back in time. The hotel is quite old, but beautifully...

Great place just outside the city. View, room, food and the staff was excellent! 5 min walk to the beautiful Boboa Gardens which is amazing! Florence like most of Italy is awash with museums, churches and restaurants which are all excellent! Park Palace is reasonably priced with breakfast included.

Stayed at this historic picturesque 26 room palace back in Oct 2011 with my daughter. Set upon a hill and within walking distance to Florence.(I had a foot problem at the time and I managed.) Or take the bus which stops right out front. The room was lovely and spacious, the largest we stayed in during our Italy trip. They...

We found this hotel through reviews on Trip Advisor and it was just perfect. We were late arriving but the staff were superb, very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a wonderful day of sightseeing using the bus and in the evening the hotel receptionist recommended a great restaurant within walking distance. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh, with good coffee!...

This was a terrific little hotel. If you want something quiet and away from the bustle of Florence then this could be perfect. It is a bit of an uphill climb from the center of town, but we thought this unpretentious property was worth it. Breakfast was ok but not great. Staff was friendly and accomodationg

The gardens are beautiful and the location pretty good- it took us a 20 minute walk to get to the Duomo. VERY nice staff, helpful. The room that we had was on the top floor and very large with a beautiful view over the countryside. Our friend stayed in the Alcove room which was awful-small and smelly. They could do...
