This hotel is incredible!! Rooms beautiful, bathroom roomy with nice amenities. Location the best, by duomo and all the sights of Florence. Bar intimate and nice. Staff very friendly except for lady at desk of breakfast. She was abrupt and not very accommodating. Breakfast was good. Would stay here for sure if we came to Florence again, can not say... More

Dear nieci, thank you for your very kind review. It’s really rewarding to learn that you so enjoyed your stay with us. The lady you mentioned was the Breakfast Manager who was very sad to read your comment and apologises if she was not able to convey you her usual friendliness and customer care. It was a pleasure to host... More

My daughter and I spent one night in Florence and this was the perfect place. From the moment we arrived, the front desk was friendly, helpful and hospital. Everything was perfect. The free drink of prosecco and fabulous appetizers at 4pm were an added treat to our wonderful stay at this hotel.

This hotel is a "must stay"! Hotel Spadai far exceeded our expectations and we look forward to next visit! Very friendly and professional staff. The woman checking us in at breakfast remembered our room number the second day and...remembered what we wanted for coffee! They made us breakfast bags to take with us for our early morning departure. Location was... More

What an amazing hotel! Excellent location! The attention to detail was second to none, and they couldn't do enough for you! Even on entering the hotel there was a beautiful scent, the decor was stunning and the staff attentive and kind! Have recommended this hotel to people we have met, and we would definitely return in the near future!

We stayed here for a weekend in Florence and were very impressed. We were given an upgrade to the hotel's suite, looking out directly onto the Duomo, which was a great start (and a lovely suite!). The quality of rooms seems great, with some nice design features. The staff were all wonderful and very helpful. It was a nice touch... More

Found this place on the internet looking for a three night acco in Florence. As we did not strive to visit 72 museums during our stay, I wanted something that provides for cozy afternoon breaks, a bar for the late night drink and spa services just in case. Booked the 'Spadai Suite' via the hotel's web site. To make it... More

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at Hotel Spadai and were thrilled with our experience! The staff were all very helpful and informative. Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
