The hotel is lovely!! Staff are extremely helpful and charming, and the hotel provides the grandest breakfast spread I’ve seen. The location is fabulous to see the best sites of Florence. The hotel staff also arranged a tour for us that was superb!! Highly recommend this hotel and the beautiful city where it is located.
We spent 3 nights in Hotel Spadai for my birthday and honestly can't think of many ways it could have been better. On arrival we were given an upgrade to their suite which was nice and spacious, especially for a city hotel. The room included a complimentary minibar (prosecco, wine, soft drinks etc) which was refilled every day and came in handy! We had breakfast each morning which contained a quality selection savoury and sweet options. On my birthday I was given birthday cheesecake which was a pleasant surprise and tasty! We also booked the private spa for 75mins. This gives you access to a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and some nice other novelties. I'd definitely recommend this as it's really good value for money. As for the overall experience, I can't praise Hotel Spadai enough for the amazing time there and will be returning next time I'm in Florence.…
The staff was fantastic. Jessica in particular was great. Our bathroom shower was broken and flooded, it was a mess and a headache. But they did everything they could to make it right and keep us comfortable. The rooms were super tall but small. The air conditioning struggled. But the breakfast was amazing as was the location.
An excellent hotel! The staff were very helpful, even before arrival. I corresponded with both Eugenia & Jessica about room requests for my group of six for three rooms, and they both helped arrange everything. We even got a discount because we had stayed at their sister hotel in Rome (Hotel Artemide) for the first half of our trip, which saved us a decent chunk of money! Lucrezia was especially helpful our last night, assisting us with calling a taxi for my parents to take them to Piazzale Michelangelo while the rest of us walked. She said we could also call from there when we were ready to leave, if getting a taxi was difficult. It turned out that it was, so we called and Lucrezia took care of it and a taxi showed up in less than two minutes to take my parents back to the hotel! We expressed our sincere thanks to her when we got back, because my parents could definitely not do the walk back. The rooms were great and impeccably clean. Two of our rooms were the Deluxe Double and the third was the Junior Suite, and they were everything we hoped for. When we first checked in, each of our rooms had a lovely note and a bottle of wine to welcome us, which was a very nice touch. The jacuzzi tub was also a nice treat, and the one night I used it, it made me feel so relaxed and content. Every time we had a question, the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and our only complaint was that we wished it was available before 7am because we had some early mornings. The location is great, and only one block from the Duomo and maybe a 10 minute walk from Santa Maria Novella Train Station. Random: Both Spadai and Artemide had a diffuser in their lobby, Acqua Dell'Elba Mare, and we all loved it. We made sure to buy some during our visit so we could bring the smell of vacation home with us! I highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay again! Thank you!!…
This hotel was absolutely amazing and beautiful! Everything was perfect from the minute we checked in to the minute we left! The staff was beyond kind and helpful! The room was gorgeous. Clean and beautiful decor! The front desk was super helpful. I can’t want to come back and stay at Spadai again! Perfect location!
