This lovely property is really centrally located I only used a taxi to and from the airport. Reception staff are extremely helpful and make you feel welcome. We were upgraded on arrival - had originally booked a superior as we needed twin beds. Room was a good size with a little annexe for a desk and thankfully for Italy a...

Our 17 day trip consisted of private tours and drives through Florence, Pienza (known for cheese), Montalcino (known for wines especially Brunello), Venice (St. Mark Church guided tour & Droge's Palace self tour), San Gimignano (beautiful ancient walls, hill town), Siena (three hills converge...

Wonderful hotel great location right in the city center of Florence. You can walk everywhere. The hotel staff is excellent. Hotel is very elegant. The morning breakfast is the best service. We included the breakfast buffet in the price of our hotel. I believe that's optional to include it or not but well worth it and very convenient. I can't...

In is a centrally located hotel within easy walking distance of all the major sites in the city. I travelled with a friend and had a beautiful, well equipped twin room as requested. The decor was stunning and it was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was large with two sinks, bath/shower, toilet and bidet. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were made of a fine linen which was fantastic. There were extra pillows and blankets too. At night,...

Originally a 15th century “Palazzo”, the Hotel Bernini is built according to the Classic Florentine architectural style, with string-course cornices along the walls and wooden shutters giving it a charming antique flavor. The Bernini Palace is located in Florence’s historic center, right behind Piazza della Signoria - just a stone’s throw from the Uffizi and Florence’s main historical attractions. The rooms are 74, Classic, Superior, Deluxe, Junior Suite and Suite, all are fitted out with the best, most up-to-date mod-cons and still preserve the charm of the past. The Tuscan Floor is reminiscent of old world Tuscan colours and themes, very warm and inviting. The new restaurant La Chiostrina is located in a historical courtyard of the hotel, it is the ideal place for delicious gastronimic specialities in Florence, its versatility makes it an excellent restaurant offering an innovative menu. A full breakfast is served in the magnificent Sala Parlamento (complete with a splendid frescoed ceiling) formerly a meeting place for members of Parliament and Senators of the Kingdom of Italy ... more   less
