Originally a 15th century “Palazzo”, the Hotel Bernini is built according to the Classic Florentine architectural style, with string-course cornices along the walls and wooden shutters giving it a charming antique flavor. The Bernini Palace is located in Florence’s historic center, right behind Piazza della Signoria - just a stone’s throw from the Uffizi and Florence’s main historical attractions. The rooms are 74, Classic, Superior, Deluxe, Junior Suite and Suite, all are fitted out with the best, most up-to-date mod-cons and still preserve the charm of the past. The Tuscan Floor is reminiscent of old world Tuscan colours and themes, very warm and inviting. The new restaurant La Chiostrina is located in a historical courtyard of the hotel, it is the ideal place for delicious gastronimic specialities in Florence, its versatility makes it an excellent restaurant offering an innovative menu. A full breakfast is served in the magnificent Sala Parlamento (complete with a splendid frescoed ceiling) formerly a meeting place for members of Parliament and Senators of the Kingdom of Italy

My husband and I stayed at Bernini Palace Hotel in October 2020. We had the most fantastic stay! The location is unbeatable, you are steps away from all the major sites such as Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, The Duomo and many more! The room is very well appointed with all the comfort of a 5 star luxury hotel. What made our stay extra special was the team! Not only very professional but extremely friendly and attentive to their guests needs. We could see that they all have a true passion for hospitality and went out of their ways to make our stay unforgettable. We would also recommend dining at the hotel restaurant, La Chiostrina. The food is simply amazing and the team (in particular Bartolo) is extremely knowledgeable and can recommend great wine pairing options! We will definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone wanted a luxury experience in the heart of Florence.

Delightful staff, beautifully appointed charming Italian hotel in the best position in the middle of Florence. Reasonably priced and spotlessly clean. There is small sun terrace on floor 5 if you want some rays too! Unusual in a city hotel. Concierge extremely knowledgeable with super restaurant information. Highly recommend!

While returning to Firenze for the first time since the lockdown we wanted to treat ourselves a bit. The Bernini palace really delivered, very friendly and professional staff, awesome rooms (we got an upgrade as well which added some extra of course). Also, great location with all main sights within a short walk.

Staying in style in a 15th century palace in the heart of Florence is magic (as well as extremely convenient)! The Bernini Palace is full of history: breakfast for instance takes place under the portraits of the 19th century politicians who worked on the unification of Italy in this very room! Rooms are very nicely decorated in a classic style, and the lobby is very stylish. The reception staff is professional and kind. The location is prime - everything in Florence is within walking distance.

We recently stayed at the Bernini Palace - it was wonderful! We had arranged car service from the airport and based on the attentiveness to detail we knew we were going to have a great stay & we weren't disappointed! The front desk staff greeted us so warmly - we immediately felt at home! We were taken to our rooms - which were spacious and beautiful. Nice touches like special lighting and wonderful smelling amenities in the bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic - lots of hot and cold breakfast options plus Proseco for mimosas! We love everything about this hotel - especially the lobby bar! It is so cozy & inviting - the bartenders are so friendly and actually remembered our orders each day! The wonderful Aqua Flor diffusers located around the hotel have the most heavenly smell! We went to the shop to buy some to bring home! The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect - tucked away enough to be quiet but also very close to the heart of Florence. We cannot wait to return to the Bernini Palace later this year!
