We enjoyed the beauty and location of this hotel. It was a short walk to restaurants and shopping. We dined at the hotel restaurant our first night and had good food and wonderful service. Massimo gave us a wine lesson and was a delight to meet. Thank you for a great stay in Florence.
Nice hotel, there is beautiful courtyard, very quiet and not far from the centre and train station. Great service! They do everything to make you feel happy. You have opportunity to choose room, every your word is heard. Room is nice, clean and have high ceiling, bed is comfortable. Special thank you to Enrice, he is very attentive and helpful!
We booked this hotel very last minute (the night before) looking for a 5-star hotel, and got a great rate ($250/night). This possibly made more of an impression than any of the rest. It's a beautiful property and there was hardly anyone there which worried us a bit but that ended up adding to the appeal. Speaking of quiet, the hotel is a good 15 minute walk from the center of Florence so you do need to be into that, but that made parking there much easier than we heard it could be if we stayed somewhere else. We are two generally fit individuals and enjoyed the river walk and the quiet the hotel provided. If you end up needed the American embassy it's a block away! :) We did not really have any interaction with the staff, but in my mind it was great we didn't need to - no complaints. The room was cute - kind of a mix of old Italy and modern here and there. Very spacious. The buffet is nothing special but they gave us a $20 coupon when we got there so made it not that expensive. It's not worth $30+ Euros. We didn't have dinner there or anything. We were not in the hotel much. Definitely worth what we paid!…
Terrible Hotel, no customer service, low quality breakfast. Rooms are old, moldy, dirty and dusty. Some rooms smell like sewer. Hot water is off and on so don’t be surprised if one day you don’t have hot water.
We just stayed for one night, but the hotel is truly a place one could enjoy for much longer. We booked one of their suites - it was two levels and struck a balance between old world glamour and modern technology. The lobby is gorgeous, the staff was nice and it is convenient to so much. We will be back.
On arrival you think from the outside wow, what a beautiful hotel. We'll it's definitely not the case. We had an average stay and this hotel definitely doesn't deserve 5 stars at all. Yes on check-in the staff are vety welcoming and friendly but (an here we go). 1) very bare, the hotel feels cold definitely not a warm feel. 2) Restaurant closed, vety misleading as when we booked it was advised as open. 3) Continental Breakfast/breakfast, you'd find better in a service station 4) bar area, the bartender is friendly but slow.. Wow 5) Room (suite) very worn in fact both rooms we had felt worn. 6) no air conditioning, the rooms extremely hot, yes we had to open the windows but the noise from outside we terrible. 7) quite far from the city centre. Overall this is probably one of the worst hotels we've stayed in for many years and will definitely not be returning to it, I recommend the Westin, 4 seasons or Savoy. If not for my wife we would have checked out of the hotel our first night. As for the manager or whoever replies to these messages don't bother, we are extremely upset with the misleading info provided to us about this hotel. …
This was the loveliest place we stayed at during our whirlwind tour of northern Italy. It was so nice to relax and enjoy the room. Evening meal in the restaurant included a 20% discount for hotel guests. This was much appreciated. A renovated home of some heritage family.
What can I say? It’s beautiful! The staff is friendly and helpful. Got an upgrade to a balcony room. Breakfast is decent, but I think it would be more robust during non covid days. The towels were great! Bed was very comfy. No water bottle in the room and an empty-ish mini bar were odd, but I blame covid. The gym was acceptable, but not wow. The ability to walk to everything easily is the real selling point after the luxurious feel of the hotel. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.
Huge bedroom, enormous bed with bathroom to match. But the welcome and service were brilliant. Very well located close to the town centre. The layout is a bit rambling but that adds to the character. Cetainly return here
We had a lovely time staying over New Years eve. The hotel is really beautiful and the rooms, especially the beds are fantastic. The front desk staff were really helpful and the hotel is in a great location.
