Hotel is located very close to railway station, but still in a quiet street, and close to the centre of Florence. Good value for money with continental breakfast included. Highly recommended

Okay, so I'll start by saying that I work in the travel industry so I do have high standards for hotels; however, this was by far and away the worst experience I have ever had. The "hotel" is located on the fourth floor of what is basically an old dingy walk-up building in an area that has a lot of...

---we use not interfere with guest's opinion, from reviews we receive impulse to do our job better and better. We now read of a hotel close to collapse, in ruin, surrounded by sexy shops, prostitution, killers around the corner ready to stab poor tourists; and also in the bedroom guest cannot find rest and peace: ferociuos bed bugs sucking blood...

We stayed here for one night on our way thru Florence to Northern Italy - it was recommended to us by a family member - it was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast room was delightful, and the breakfast adequate - the waiter was very friendly courteous and smiley. Reception staff were attentive and helpful. I would recommend this...

I'm not sure how this hotel stacks up against other two star hotels in Florence, but it was the worst two star hotel we encountered in our travels through France and Italy. The bedspread may have been cleaned once in it's long lifetime, but I doubt it. Same for the blanket. You would think that in a city renowned for...

A lovely small hotel. Mix of friendly and not so friendly staff. A good breakfast with a beautiful view from the breakfast room. Rooms spacious and well maintained. Located very close to train station and major sightseeing only a 10 minutes walk away. Great rates and easy booking procedure on the hotel's website. Would highly recommend for those seeking budget...

The hotel is close to the railway station "Firenze Santa Maria Novella", very close to the city centre and in a perfect location to visit the city. The room was clean, with air conditioning system, frigo bar, safe box, a wardrobe, a table and TV. The bathroom was little but clean, ok for two young people like me and my...

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Fiorita in June 2006 and it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is in a wonderful location, not more than 100 meters from the train station, but in a side street where there was little or no noise. The room had double windows for the sound. The room was clean, with...

This pensione is in a great location near the train station and all the main attractions of the city. Our room was spacious with high ceilings/wooden shutters and tiled floor. Furniture is a bit basic but OK. Shower room v small but clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful although we didn't have much contact with them. Breakfast was fine. The...

We needed to leave our hostel and find other accommodation, so we started looking by the train station. The friendly hotel room-finder in the station suggested a place run by her friend, Roberto. The good news is that it was right around the corner from the train station, but far enough away to remain undisturbed by trains and tour buses....
