Old hotel full of character very close to the main train station. Very clean and a good breakfast provided every morning. Found the staff helpful and courteous . Very central to all the sights and some good restaurants close by .

We got the last room in the tower with an excellent view of the Doumo and other buildings, but the downside is the room is not the best, not sure where the 4* was for this room, more of an 2/3* really, equipment was from the 80's,cables hanging, but i can only judge on the room i had, which was not...

The hotel is ideally located.Very close to SM Novella train station and within 10min walking distance from all the monuments in central florence one must visit. Staff are very helpful and polite. Breakfast is adequate although after the third time it starts to feel a bit dull. As is the case with all hotels within the city center, this is an...

I was very disappointed with this hotel and I felt misled completely. The location is great, close to the railway station and the sight but that's where the positives end. From initial check in, staff were quite rude, abrupt and not engaging with the customer. Then the room was awful. Now I did not think I had OCD however the...

Dear Madame, we are really sorry to know that on your arrival you felt like we did not received you in the proper way. The attention we have towards our guest is usually one of our stronger points. In you comment you have complained about many issues we could have solved. Every guest has different preference and when we have...

Endless stairs to get to your room, hardest bad to sleep and most expensive parking place. Thats what you get when staying here. We got a room ("the only room left...") above the hotel kitchen, so we had a "nice" smell of fried food directly to our room. They called us to change the room to a suite "that would...

I loved this hotel!!! I've stayed in 4 different hotels so far (on this trip) and this is by far my favorite. Great location, close to train station, easy to walk to with luggage. Very helpful concierge. Great breakfast, best I've had in Italy! Softer (than normal for Italy) bed that I actually got a good night's sleep in. Very...

The location of this hotel is fantastic so it's easy to wander around, and the decor has an old charm to it. The positives end there unfortunately. I had the worst nights sleep which is not how you wish to start a busy day of exploring. It's hard to say if this is because of the noise from outside or...

There is a lovely ice cream shop across from the hotel and a good sandwich etc shop opposite the ice cream. We had...
