We were a party of 5, including an 8 yr old and it was nice to find a hotel with a "family room". It consisted of 2 rooms each with its own private doors within the main door and connected with a bathroom in between. This allowed us to be together and still have a private room for the parents....

We stayed in a piazza-facing room during the intense heat of this past July. I mention the heat because the only small down-side to this room was that the air conditioner unit, working overtime, was a bit noisy. To its credit, it was very effective, and the welcome relief after a day of sight-seeing far outweighed the noise of the...

We booked a double room and lucked out with room 206 which was large and had a terrace overlooking the piazza!!! It was a great view and wonderful place to finish the evening. Keep in mind though that...

Really good value for money. Excellent location right in the heart of historic Florence. Easy car drop off in ZTL. €26 for 24h parking and completion of ZTL forms. Friendly reception. Small but clean, very well presented bedroom with modern bathroom. Free, high speed wifi. Simple, good breakfast. I would have liked to have seen some bottled water in the...

We'd visited Pendini hotel in November 2014. Our room was quite good, it had a view in the square. It was big enough ang clean. The bathroom was also big and clean. Breakfast was nice, it had a variety of different things like croissant, cake, jam, coffee, juice. Last but not least ,this hotel was close to many historical places...

Our family of 5 stayed in a suite with 2 bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The hotel was perfect! Beautiful, charming, clean and close to all the tourist sites in Florence. The breakfast was very generous with a lot of options. Front desk staff were helpful, efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My dad and I stayed here 1 night while touring Italy. The location is why you want to choose this hotel as it's right in the heart of everything Florence has to offer. Apparently, the hotel has been a mainstay in the town for quite some time and the lobby features some great photos that show its history. The rooms...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
