The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable, every amenity carefully considered, the staff is extraordinary - kind, helpful, patient, professional - the location is nothing short of spectacular, and breakfast is abundant and delicious. This place will spoil you for any other hotel experience.

Clean, well-run hotel. Great breakfast options (incl gluten free) and very central location. Reasonably priced. Rooms could be a little more updated, but really this is a minor point for what is otherwise a great hotel

Hotel is situated extremely near of town center and the two most important squares, a lot of restaurants nearby, Palazzio vecchio is just around the corner. You can't miss a thing. Rooms are big and clean, lots of open space and the best breakfast we had in italy

Only complaint - minor - is the bath towels were more like hand towels. Also, came back on afternoon for a quick nap and shower and the...

This was our second stay at Hotel Pendini and we loved it! We brought our two children(13 and 9) and booked a family room, which consisted of 2 bedrooms and one bathroom connected by a small hallway. I liked that there was only one exterior door, rather than the kids' room being accessible from the hall. The rooms were lovely...

We stayed two nights - very homely. Staff were all welcoming and friendly. The Manager - whose name we didn't get unfortunately - was great. He was attentive to everyone and always offered extra assistance. He showed us a great route to Siena which we took - amazing countryside and villages through the Chianti region. Many thanks for a great...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
