The hotel is value for money and sleeps 4 comfortable. The rooms are spacious. Good location and there's quite a bit to do around the hotel area. Love the quality and spread of the free breakfast that comes with my booking. Would love to be back here when I visit Florence again.

The location is good. Most attractions are in walkable distance. Room was clean and breakfast was exceptional. The only complaint that I have is about treatment of an employee by the front desk person. The employee who was an immigrant was cleaning the area and the front desk person was talking to him very rudely. This image continues to stay...

We stayed here for 2 nights. We had quite the time finding the entrance to this hotel. We had a rental car and drove into Florence from Poggibonsi on a Sunday, so we were allowed to drive into the city center restricted zone (it's not restricted on Sundays). Don't do what we did!!! The streets were packed with pedestrians. PACKED!...

Had a suite that could accomodate 5 of us. We were not on the piazza repubblica side so can't comment on the side. The room was pretty dated, especially with the wallpaper but the bathroom was updated. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Great location near the Duomo and a short walk to the train station.

A Huge noise from Piazza della Repubblica even after midnight with windows closed. My 2 years old boy could not go to sleep because of it. I will NEVER EVER stay with you again. Thanks a lot for the terrible terrible experience.

dear Guest, we regret to learn from your review that you stay has not been fully satisfactory. the busy piazza is "live" at night (usually music from the disco bars stops at 12,30 am) and despite the double glazing we have installed in all windows of the rooms facing the square you can still hear some noise. I also regret...

Everything about the hotel was lovely - including the music at breakfast. Whilst the breakfast menu wasn't extensive, it was a good quality. The hotel is very centrally located. There are good places to eat end drink in the square however, it can be a little noisy on a night time.

The hotel room was beautiful and you're right in the center of main attractions. It seemed like we didn't have to walk more then 15 minutes to get anywhere. My only hesitation in giving it 5 stars is that it's located near an outdoor musician that played until 1am some days. It was pretty disruptive, but didn't sour the trip.

Good Location. Quiet rooms. Service good. Breakfast decent. Value for money. Close to railway station. comfortable lounge area. Access to all sites. Lift a bit on the small side, but that is not a problem.

Our stay at Pendini hotel in Florence was really gorgeous, from check in to check out! Very warm welcome on arrival, excellent valet parking service included in our room rate, and then the cathedral and Giotto's bell tower at a few minutes walk. The next day we had an excellent breakfast complemented by a very accurate service. Everybody was veri...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
