15min fast walk from Santa Maria Novella train station, a bit less to the river and old centre. Mid-range quality, clean and all satisfactory. Rooms have lovely high ceilings and big windows - a bit of character. The chap at reception was very helpful. Breakfast a bit so-so, crowded and not very high quality pastries. But no-one goes to Italy...

Good Location next to the Synagogue - even if you aren't planning on visiting the synagogue ( which you should - it is majestic) the location is good because throughout the city you can follow the signs to the synagogue and not get so lost, friendly staff, Very small shower, Good breakfast not the fanciest hotel but definitely is satisfactory...

This hotel was booked as part of a travel package. I was hopeful based on the reviews, but was quickly disappointed. The owners are very nice but the hotel is in dire need of serious updating. The rooms are old and musty, and there is a level of grime that comes with the age of the hotel. The white grout...

This is a cute little hotel with a family running it, the people we met were very friendly and polite. Perhaps we have been spoiled by the other places we have stayed in, there's nothing special about it but it's a good place to get some sleep. A bit out of the town with a few good bars nearby and...

We stumbled upon this wonderful hotel while visiting my daughter who is studying abroad - it was just down the street from her apartment, off the frenzy path of tourists, close to the Great Synagogue of Florence. It is family run - with a wonderful restaurant across the street that they recently opened, with a great menu of Tuscan food....

If you are staying in Florence or need this particular location look no further. I stayed here for a week and have no complaints. Elton and Ehrman and the whole staff were great. This was my first trip to Florence and the two owners helped with everything. I travel 4-5 times a year and the overall experience and care I...

Very helpful and friendly staff - family owned. They are keen to make your stay a pleasure and it certainly was for us. Thank you Hotel Arizona. The hotel's restaurant (10% discount for in-house guests) is value for money. A honeymooner couple obviously enjoyed their first dinner together at this restaurant. Fully recommended, both hotel and the restaurant. Hotel Arizona...

You never know how important service and friendliness is until you don't have it. The bothers, helpers and family were a difference maker. They helped us get cabs, gave us a free breakfast. Recommended restaurants. They were always nice, always friendly. They really cared about our business. though the bathroom was small, it was clean. they way we were welcomed....

We stayed for three nights in one of the Kometa Suites and Apartments owned by the Kometa brothers who also owns Hotel Arizona. The apartment was well furnished, clean and spacious. But it was the great service that was extended to my family by Elton and Elmar that was outstanding to us! My husband had a painful infection on his...

This is an overdue review. We visited Florence in July and were lucky to stay at this, one of a kind, hotel for three nights! It is a family owned hotel and from the moment we arrived, they all made us feel as we were part of the family. Great location, within walking distance from all the main attractions and...
