We arrived at Cellai Florence to a warm welcome and excellent reception. we had booked online so it took a while to verify but Sheena facilitated this very efficiently to our pleasant surprise she also arranged for parking. Our room was another pleasant experience to large fourposter beds and a gleaming white bathroom. We unfortunately had envisioned a one night...

We booked the Cellai Hotel a couple of weeks before our trip and what a pleasant surprise it was! It is a stunning 10 minute walk from the very heart of the old town and is a beautiful boutique hotel stocked full of tastefully selected antique furnishings. Many of the antiques are set into an array of well appointed private...

This is a lovely little boutique hotel in a great location. They had so many really nice breakfast options and a lovely bar and sitting area down stairs and on the roof/terrace. My only issues were that the rooms were warm, they weren't allowed to turn on the AC's because of council regs? and there are no fans, but my...

Hotel with a selection of different type and size rooms We had a "suite": Small bedroom and a smaller "living" room with a sofa, bed, table, TV and a chair. But a cramped small bathroom - almost no place to put things. The room faced the street and there was a little noise from the cars and buses. At night it...

We only spent one night here but would recommend. It is deceptively spacious with lots of nooks and crannies. Bed was very comfy, nice room. Lovely helpful staff. Although the honesty bar is a good idea we were a bit miffed that we were honest and paid the price while we witnessed a couple completely take the lend.

This was by far the friendliest hotel during our 10day tour around Italy. Check in and check out was quick. Lovely large breakfast buffet that always seemed full. Open honest bar on terrace and in Lobby. Rooms were nicely decorated throughout the hotel. Gave use a complementary bottle of sparkling wine for honeymoon! Located in the center of shopping central!...

Old world charm!!! Wonderful staff and beautiful antiques everywhere. Loved the visit there!!! The only problem was locating the hotel. We drove from Rome and had a rough time using the gps in the car in locating the hotel. We called the hotel and they were very helpful and managed to get us there!!

This is great hotel presented in an old-world style. The rooms are quaint, clean, and unique. The hotel staff is professional and friendly. They offer a FULL breakfast every morning from 7:30 to 10:30, that should not be missed. It is within walking distance of most of the major attractions in Florence. It has a quaint rooftop lounge area with...

I visited Hotel Cellai with a small tour group (16 ppl) in March, 2017. It was my first visit to Florence, and I am so happy to have had this hotel as a home base. As I'm sure you know, Florence is not a modern city, so it is to be expected that a hotel in an old city will...
