I stayed at the Laurus in September for 4 nights as a short break. We wanted to see the sights of Florence and they did not disappoint. This hotel was perfectly located-central and within walking distance to all sights. Although it was on a busy road within view of the Duomo the room was quiet so no trouble sleeping. Beds...

An excellent hotel in the heart of Florence. I spent 4 nights with my family of wife and 2 small children. I chose the Laurus because of location (everything reachable on foot) and the fact that it has easy access in and out of the rooms. In many hotels in Florence you have to go up a ramp of stairs...

Low and behold, this hotel is at the center of Florence and only literally 3 mins Duomo. One of rooms, 702 (I think) had the perfect view of Duomo. Step out your window to a private balcony and take the night air and views in. Btw, there are only 2 rooms like this, so, luck was on our side. They...

Lobby looked a bit gloomy, but room was excellent. Lovely bed linen, very comfortable bed and all very fresh and clean. Breakfast on the roof terrace with a view of the Duoma was wonderful. It has a great position, everywhere is in walking distance and the station is easy to walk to with cases!!

This hotel surpassed expectations. All I was really expecting was a basic room in which to put my stuff and sleep, however, we were very pleased to find that the room was a good size, plenty of hanging space for the clothes and drawers for all our nic naks. The bathroom was clean and spacious and the shower was lovely....

No surprises from trip advisor reviews. Great location, very nice rooms and not what you would expect from a Best Western. They were having some issues with the wifi during my stay.

Situated in the centre of Florence, two minutes from the Duomo. The Laurus is a comfortable 4* hotel on seven floors, with the breakfast room, bar having a rooftop terrace with a view of the cathedral. I was slightly concerned that the hotel might be a bit noisy, being so close to a busy square and church bells but it...

I'm so glad I chose this hotel for our trip to Florence. The location was just perfect, only about 100yards from the Duomo! Also, as the centre of Florence is small, the train station is only about 5 mins away in the other direction. (Getting the train to and from Pisa airport is easy and convenient - don't bother with...
