Stayed one night before leaving Florence - tiny single room with a balcony that had a gorgeous view of the city! Small but clean and newly remodeled bathroom complete with bathrobe and slippers! Very nice breakfast in the am before leaving for the airport. Staff not very friendly. Room so small would not have been comfortable for a longer stay....

Spent 4 nights here with my wife last week. It's in a great location, near the railway and coach station to be accessible quickly providing you can spot it and don't walk past it. It's also near to the centre and it's history, churches and galleries which are all within walking distance, and let's face it Florence's centre is not...

This 3 star hotel has good points - location near train and bus station, but on a narrow busy street. Well within walking distance of all attractions, cafes and restaurants. The hotel only has a door on the ground frontage and a small neon sign above; can be difficult to locate (our taxi driver had problems finding it) - don't...

We chose this hotel as it looked on the map close to the Florence SMN station and it was just that, only a few minutes walk with our cases. Our room was on the first floor and very adequate and the staff extremely helpful. The first night my husband had a problem with the air/con making a noise and went...

The Hotel is an old interesting building, very well positioned for the train station which is a 5 minute walk. We were recommended an excellent restaurant also within walking distance by the receptionist. Very helpful obliging staff.

We spent 3 nights in Florence and very little of it in the hotel so we weren't worried about views etc. we just needed a comfy bed and clean bathroom which is what we got although the shower cubicle is incredibly small. Hotel pays homage to the past with "frescoes" on walls. the actual entrance to the hotel is really...

I'm quite surprised to read negative reviews about this hotel as from my experience here it seemed a very good standard of hotel given it is a 3 star. Our room was lovely and very clean, there was a good choice for breakfast, when we had an issue with our travel plug the young lady on reception was able to...

- reception was messy, paper and personal documents were everywhere, keys to rooms were left lying all over the front desk so that anybody could walk off the street and take them - beds were SO hard we resorted to sleeping pills just to get a few hours of rest. We complained, were moved to another room and the beds...

Room was fine, breakfast good and it is a nice hotel. It's location is superb and we were very comfortable therr. Nice staff too. The hotel is attractive and clean. This hotel came up to expectations and there was always someone available for advice. The general level of service was high and being so close to the centre of Florence...

We arrived by train from Rome after flying from Cape Town. Staff at reception on the ball, very efficient. Our rooms were not ready yet but they kept our cases and we went out for refreshments. Cases had been taken to our room when we returned. Excellent breakfast, with fresh rolls and croissants, besides lots of other meats and fruit...
