I returned to the Machiavelli after three years and it was wonderful to see familiar faces (Marcello, Nadia and Cinzia). I love the 5 minute walk from the Stazion and 10 minute walk to the Duomo and the San Lorenzo Mercado. My room was fine and as requested (not near the elevator). Georgiana is a front desk agent and does...

We had a lovely stay in this hotel which is very conveniently located. It's a short walk from the train station where the links to Pisa come into Florence. But it's also only a short walk to the Duomo and other sights. What's more, in the streets close to the hotel we found a great range of food at reasonable...

As we were there b/c of a conference, I was more than disappointed that they chose this hotel. The hotel is very handy to the train station and conference center and walking distance of all important sights, but the rooms are really distressed and hot and noisy:( breakfast was pretty good, included. Wifi is so slow that most things not...

Booked last minute due to a change in plans and was able to get this hotel. We needed a hotel for 3 nights as our next Florence hotel was booked. Because we were coming in from Rome and then a day trip to Venice the hotel was in an excellent location a block off the train station. Let me start...

Very satisfied. Good Wifi, free everywhere in the hotel. Good location in city. We had a balcony with table/chairs and a wiew over the Duoma. Very nice. Cold breakfast bread, cheese, ham, yoghurt, vegetables, fresh fruit and so on. Fine for us. Nice staff. We had a lot of space in our room on the fifth floor. It was clean...

The first thing that I loved about this place was that it was soooo close to the Firenze station. Secondly it was in the heart of the tourist section of the city and hence saved us a lot of time in travelling to different spots. Anytime we wanted to go anywhere, it was just a walk away. Whether it is...

Located just a few minutes walk from the train station and right around the corner from the leather market and Central Market, this hotel has a very helpful staff who made my 4 night stay a most pleasant one. The Cathedral is a very short walk away as are most of the museums. While the included breakfast was adequate, it...

We stayed here for 3 nights at the begining of March. Location is great, 5 minute walk from the train station and in the oposite direction it is 10 minutes to the Duomo. The hotel itself is a good 3 star. The staff are all very polite and helpful. The room we had was 409, which had a good view...

I don't recommend that any solo traveller stay here. I was given room 501 - a dark single room with the tiniest bathroom I've ever seen. Holes in the sheets, frayed bedspread, only 2 hangers in the wardrobe... The worst thing was the noise. It was next to the old and very noisy lift and had what looked like an...
