This is a charming hotel, all the staff were very kind and attentive to all our needs! The Manager, Mr. Pacciani, went out of his way to make sure we had a memorable weekend!(it was my husband's birthday and he made it special for us)! The hotel is situated right in the centre - so within 5 minutes you can...

My boyfriend and I have just returned from Florence where we stayed at this lovely hotel. The decor is classy and beautiful, the staff are extremely helpful and speak so many different languages. The rooms are cleaned every day and the beds are turned down each morning. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom has a very powerful shower and...

The Hotel Pierre has a fabulous locaion allowing you to walk to most of the major sights in less than 8 minutes. The staff are very helpful on the front desk, although at breakfast the waiting staff are slow to replenish the pastries and coffee etc. Our room was a very good size and had lots of storage. It had...

A superb place to stay. Very central and staff very friendly and helpful. Bar staff exceptionally friendly and very ready to give information and offer advice. Buffet breakfast was very good with a good choice of fruit, cereals cold meats, cheeses etc. If we visit Florence again the Pierre will be our first choice

Hotel Pierre had the best service and staff possible. The manager Fabrizio Pacciani took personal care of every request we had made, making sure our stay is comfortable and enjoyable. I definitely would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends! When manager heard that we are from California, Bay Area and enjoy wines, he delivered a beautiful bottle...

loved staying at this hotel and would recommend to anyone. You can hear some noise from the market stalls opening outside early in the morning but it didnt make the stay unpleasant. The hotel is clean and has a central location you couldn't really ask for better. The breakfast is quite basic but there are planty of other places to...

Considering the overall poor quality of italian hotels, this is a true 4 star hotels. Location is perfect, rooms are absolutely clean and confortable, and the staff are pretty kind and obliging. If anything to say, breakfast could be better. Perfect option as headquarter to visit Florence

While in Florence, my husband and I stayed at the Pierre Hotel. Although slightly pricey, it was worth it as far as location goes. It's located right in the center of Florence but you would never know that inside the hotel. It was very quiet. Our room was large for European standards, the beds quite comfortable, and the service very...

The room and bathroom were enormous, very comfortably furnished, and extremely clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location couldn't have been much better. We were only a five minute walk from almost everything we wanted to see and do.

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
