Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location for walking to all the sites (Duomo, Accadamia, Ponte Vechia, Iffizi, etc). Great restaurants nearby especially try IL Posto across the street (see my review on that). Front desk was nice but not overly helpful. I left my glasses...More
Good location and walkable to everything. Rooms are clean but smaller and spartan. Complimentary water would be nice. Staff is very helpful and went out of their way to help. WIFI was good enough and they can arrange tours
Pierre Hotel provided a perfect base in Florence for our first three nights in Italy. Highlights are the great location along with very good breakfast buffet (ask for them to make you cappuccino) and helpful staff. Room was spacious with an even larger bathroom but...More

Location, location, location! And an excellent staff that were very kind and helpful. The room was lovely with a very nice bathroom and good linens. The breakfast room is beautiful with plenty of nice options, and good orange juice - a must for my husband.
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
