The room i was required  some urgent redecoration and reparation. The furniture is extremely old and quite used. The carpet, the wall, everything was old and walls were dirty. The bathroom was terrible - it had a fan (which is totally okay) but the one in my room was doing enormous noise! The pressure of hot water was very very low, it was even freezy and unpleasant to get shower. The stuff was absolutely unhelpful. For them it took two days and two my reminders to change a battery in the safe so that I could use it! A housekeeper was always forgetting to put a towel for feet! Breakfast is very light - tea/coffee, some cakes and yogurt. The last day i had breakfast a bit late and many of cakes were already run out. The position I liked but in the end of the day the price/quality is frustrating.

This was my second stay in the Classic and it was every bit as lovely as I remembered. It was so good to come back and sit in its garden after a hectic day in the centre which is only 20 minutes walk away through the Porta Romana, past the Pitti Palace and over the Ponte Vecchio. The Boboli Gardens are almost on the doorstep. Staff are lovely and very helpful. We had two lovely rooms, it's an old villa but has everything you need, together with high ceilings and lots of space.

Boutique hotel, 15 minutes walk from Florence centre, and a few minutes walk from Boboli Gardens. Lovely hotel, friendly staff who let me leave my bags & change as I was several hours early before check in. I went exploring in the gardens then into Florence for gelato. Perfect location for a weekend break.

Hotel is about a 20 minute walk to Duomo. They offer free parking which is a big plus. Room was clesn n bef comfortable however needs updating. They need to get rid of the bedspread n rug n clean n uodste chairs. Wifi goes in and out. breakfast was ok for continental but they need to invest in a cappucino machine not an automatic self serve.

I stayed at this hotel as part of a cycling tour. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is situated a fair walk from the major attractions, but perfect for a more quiet and local feeling holiday. This was my second stay in Florence in 10 days and much preferred this location for lazing around at local bars and cafes, as the tourists are less frequent than in places closer to the historical centre. My room was on the top floor, effectively in the roof. This meant that the room was hot, when the air con was not on. But qiute comfortable when it was. The room had a slope in it, which made it feel a little smaller than it was. Breakfast selection was quite good.
