A stay at Hotel Torre di Bellosguardo is like a stay in the countryside of Tuscany yet in the middle of Florence. We began each day with a short walk down through gardens, fields and a farm to arrive just above the Roman Gate and a short walk to the heart of Florence. Not to worry, you can take a...

I have stayed in may 3, 4 and 5 star hotels in Italy. I have lived in Florence and visited several times. This was my first stay at The Villa Bellosquardo and I will never stay anywhere else in Florence again. There are very few hotel experiences in the world like this. This is purely unique. Old world, authentic, historic...

This hotel is amazing! It feels like you are sleeping in a castle and the views are unmatched. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. We had our wedding on the property and the staff helped us with set up and assisted us with any additional needs we had. There is dinner offered on the property if you schedule ahead,...

We spend one weekend in this hotel. At the first side it's look like a castle somewhere on the hill. But from our room opened a beautiful view to Florence. The hotel was very quite, with not a lot of quests. We where alone. So all the stuff is very nice and accommodating. The hotel is very unusual . If...

This is the ultimate Tuscan experience. Faultless. Impeccable sense of propriety with staff that are accommodating and warm. Look no further for a magical experience in Firenze. Do not be put off by the hotels location either, it's a comfortable 15min stroll down to Ponte Vecchio and the many wonders of the town. An absolute must on any Italian itinerary.

I had one of the best experiences staying at the Torre di Bellosguardo. Not only was the hotel itself absolutely astonishing and filled with historical archetypes, but the view from the front-as well as out of each window- was absolutely breath taking! I traveled here with my mom and sister and we participated in the cooking class that was offered....

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for all the appreciation of what Bellosguardo has to offer. It is most satisfying to meet young people capable of understanding what we are and becoming immersed in the world of the past and the art Bellosguardo and Florence is so rich in. Ther enthusiasm you, your sister and mother showed in the cooking...

we had the best time at Bellosguardo which offers retrieve from the busy Florence streets, but is a quick 15-20 min walk to town when you are rested up and ready for more action. The staff are helpful, kind, and the grounds are awesome--- fun animals to pet, and the views are unbeatable. Further, the rooms are decorated with amazing...

Dear Guest, I do not feel at all like " the boss of a real life castle" ! I feel, though, very responsible for preserving such a beautiful building and property and it is always a joy to share it with guests like you who bring the whole place to life. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and...

On a recent trip to Paris I decided to stop by Florence for a couple days to see friends, and stay in my favorite hotel, the Torre di Bellosguardo. Even though it was winter, as far as I know Tuscany has escaped the Polar Vortexes and blizzards that have plagued my home in New York City this winter. So it...

Dear Guest, What fun and pleasure it was meeting you as well as experiencing the cooking class. It is always a joy to share my little knowledge about cooking with "pupils" as eager as you were.
