A wonderful return to the past in this historic hotel in Florence. On arrival I came across the best view of the city, in a calm and relaxing atmosphere where I was welcomed by friendly and welcoming staff. Definitely a place to revisit. Thanks for the great experience.

It is US, dear Guest, who are the ones to do the thanking. Clients like you give back the life to "old" Bellosguardo. We really are grateful. We hope to welcome you back one day and spoil you!

This is an idyllic hotel in an idyllic setting - above the city, above the bustle, set in a jewel of a garden, with a fabulous unique pool enjoying more fabulous views than from Piazza Michelangelo. The rooms are huge and festooned with antiques. The Franchetti family, who own this Renaissance marvel, have ensured that it survives and prospers without...

Dear Guest, We were quite embarrassed by your exceptional review: there are undoubtedly many other gorgeous hotels in the world. What matters though, is that your stay in Bellosguardo was a total success. You really did discover and appreciate every corner of the hotel and garden. We are most grateful to you for such a glowing review. All that remains...

Well I'm a very lucky chap, my wife secretly booked flights, cabriolet car and the stunning home of Amerigo and Anna Franchetti for a for a four day celebration trip to glorious Firenze. It is simply the most incredible location, a short twenty minute walk into town and restaurant heaven. We had the Tower room with a window on all...

My wife and I stayed at this lovely, historic villa with phenomenal views of Florence in the distance and exquisitely managed grounds in October. We found ourselves wishing that we had booked this accommodation for additional nights. Sadly, our travel itinerary and planned town visits in Tuscany would not permit alterations. This villa has been completely restored and modernized and...

Stop looking for hotels to book in Florence, this is the best you will find. Removed from the city with an amazing view over Florence (but a quick enough cab ride or walk in that you don't feel isolated from seeing the sights) - this was hands down the highlight hotel of our trip to Italy. From the moment we...

Every time this place gets better. Bellosguardo sits high above the bustling crowded city of Florence with what must be the greatest view in Italy. As if that isn't enough, this magnificent family home, now a hotel, is still owned by the Baron's family who with their lovely staff treat you like their own guests. This is a late Renaissance...

Dear kind guest, How lovely to know tthat you are in love with Bellosguardo! Each year we carry out improvements, some of which are major ones, but never ever change the atmosphere. It is a great compliment to hear that a faithful guest does not even notice the improvement. We really look forward to your next visit and thank you...

As soon as we arrived we knew this place was special. It has the best views of Florence and the rolling hills of Tuscany. The grounds are beautifully manicured, including a pool, gardens, olive grove, and donkeys! The hotel itself is lovely and maintains its history, while having all amenities we needed. The bed is incredibly comfortable and our room...

Dear Guest, By saying that you really felt at home here in Bellosguardo, you have paid us the greatest compliment of all. That is exactly what we are striving for : to see that our guests feel relaxed and comfortable, not over-awed by the proportions of a Medieval/Renaissance building. Thank you so very much for your wonderful review. We look...

Absolutley fan-TAS-tic. The views overlooking the old city of Florence nestled in the rolling hills and olive groves of Tuscany is magnificent...I can't imagine a better view of this area.
