We were very happy with our stay here. We arrived from Rome via train at around 9ish in the morning. About 5-7 minutes walk from the train station. Lady at the front desk (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name) was super friendly and super helpful. Rooms are nice and cozy. Bathrooms

Wonderful location, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful rooftop terrace and comfortable rooms. I loved every aspect of this hotel which is located right at the Ponte Vecchio. The rooms make you feel like you are the house guest of a beloved Great Aunt (less hotel and more

Everything about Hotel Hermitage was wonderful! The location and the room were perfect. Jolanda was so helpful in making reservations at restaurants and museums both in person and in advance by email. The breakfast was good - they even provided gluten-free bread for my daughter.

Liked this place. The room was very spacious and close to major attractions. The downside was the church bells going off every hour. First day was woken up at 6, 7 and 8 am. Maybe it was the room we were in. My sister and brother - in law were not bothered by it.

We stayed at Hotel Hermitage recently for our mini-moon and what a glorious little hotel it is! Quaint decor which added to its charm. Perfect location in Florence and situated next to the Ponte de Vecchio with a fab rooftop with views of the Duomo and the river. A short cab

There is bar service on the roof top deck but I don’t recall food service. There are plenty of places right next door. You will love it

Good afternoon! There is no direct bus from the hotel to get to Piazzale Michelangelo. You have to take first the bus D (stop: ponte alle grazie- Direction: Piazza Ferrucci) arriving in Piazza Ferrucci. In piazza Ferrucci then you have to take the bus number 13, direction: Piazzale Michelangelo, arriving directly there. Coming back, you take the bus n. 13 and you stop at the train station. From there, you can walk to the hotel or take a taxi. Walking from the hotel to the piazzale takes about 30 minutes. Best regards, Monica

The hotel has a small elevator but you will have to walk up one flight of stairs from the street to reach it. You will be given a code to use it while you are there. The office is on the fifth floor. There is one more flight of stairs after that to get to the roof terrace which is wonderful for drinks and snacks at night and breakfast in the morning.
