Welcome to your home… To appreciate a house, it is of primary importance to know its history. The Hotel Ariele is built from two buildings of different ages: the first was constructed from an ancient tower dating back to the 1400’s, the second from a prestigious palace dating back to the 1700’s, formerly occupied by various embassies, including the Swiss embassy during the Kingdom of Italy and the residence of numerous Florentine families. Even today you can still breathe the air and the splendour of those times, in the large rooms with vaulted ceilings, in the intimacy of the common rooms or be embellished by splendid fireplaces of the time. The hotel was completely renovated in 2022 while respecting the charm of an ancient Florentine residence has given it a contemporary look with all the main and modern comforts without sacrificing its classical nature.

An absolute pleasure to stay at the Hotel Ariele. The staff were attentive and helped with all our requests. The rooms were very very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great, with a variety of choices. Highly recommended. Thank you Hotel Ariele!

don't know where to start ... what a lovely , friendly team , we were there to celebrate my partner David birthday and we were upgraded to a Junior Suite, which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise, all the team have a happy to help attitude from the moment you check in right through to you checking out.
felt like at home away from home , bedroom clean ,specious and we learnt the hotel had been recently refurbished
You can expect high quality bedding , bright , airy bedrooms and and and fantastic breakfast from cooked option to buffet with selection of meat , cheese , salmon with glass of bubbles ( why not ?) ( Irina thank you for lovely smile every morning )
seriously great experience and we will be definitely choosing this hotel when visiting Florence again.
Well done!

We had a great stay for an 'energency' night where our flight was canceled and there was no capacity in the previous hotel. The staff at hotel Ariele is welcoming, caring and very approachable. We have arrived before check in time and our room was ready shortly after - in the meantime we have enjoyed coffee in the garden (what a nice addition for hotel in Florence!). The area is quiet and easy to access from a train station. We had a buggy and we find walking along the river less bumpy when we were walking to city centre. Hotel is newly refurbished and rooms are comfortable. Our A/C stopped working during night but room stayed cool enough to sleep comfortably. Breakfast in hotel Ariele was also nice with fresh fruit and larger selection of sweet and savory options. We didn't ask for cot as it was only one night stay but when we arrived in the room it was provided - which shows how thoughtful the staff is.

I can also compare the stay to another hotel nearby where we have paid much higher price per night and room/bathroom weren't as new / clean, no shampoo / soap in the room after check in (we had to ask for it), A/C was broken and we were told it's turned off for season - only after couple of complains it was looked at. It was near a busy road so opening a window wasn't an option due to noise. Staff wasn't as approachable as in hotel Ariele. That experience made it unpleasant stay for price we have paid where in comparison what hotel Ariele offers in my opinion is adequate to price you pay in Florence. Next time we are in Florence we will definitely try to stay in hotel Ariele.

We found Hotel Ariele to be beautiful, comfortable and convenient to the areas we wanted to tour.
There is construction going on across the street, but we traveled with our noise canceling headphones.
The included breakfast was very nice, having a wonderful array of choices. And the cold natural water provided in the room’s refrigerator, and replaced/refilled daily, was a considerate touch.

My recent stay was characterized by some positive aspects and some points that require attention. Let's start with the positive side: the breakfast offered was delicious and varied, with a wide choice of fresh and tasty foods that certainly contributed to a pleasant and satisfying start to the day.

However, during my stay, I noticed some issues related to the cleaning and maintenance of the rooms. While the exterior of the property appeared welcoming, inside I found some details overlooked. The cleanliness of the rooms seemed superficial, and I noticed small overlooked details that would have required more attention, such as accumulated dust in some areas and some signs of wear on furniture and walls.

The lack of maintenance in some places slightly affected the overall experience. It would be desirable for the property to dedicate more time and resources to regular maintenance of the rooms to ensure an impeccable and welcoming environment for all guests.

Despite these points, the staff was courteous and helpful, proving attentive to guests' requests. I hope that my observation can contribute to future improvement, as I am convinced that special attention to cleanliness and maintenance can make a difference in elevating the overall experience of customers who choose to stay here.

Ariele Hotel was lovely. Located outside of the crowded tourist area, but not too far. There was a laundromat a 5-minute walk away which was very convenient and affordable. A small grocery was nearby to grab snacks, water, etc. The hotel itself was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. The breakfast had lots of choices that catered to different tastes. The summer morning temperatures were comfortable enough to enjoy breakfast in the outdoor garden area. Zero complaints about the Ariele and highly recommend.

The area around the hotel was under construction but inside the hotel was absolutely beautiful, the rooms were always kept clean and the staff was amazing and attentive to my mother who has celiac. If we’re ever in Florence again we’re definitely going to stay again. Great walking distance to the downtown area as well as little cafes roughly a 15-30 min walk to downtown

Wonderful family stay. Valet picked and dropped car off which was very convenient. Staff was very accommodating with restaurant recs and guidance. Room was well air conditioned, two teen boys and us stayed in family room comfortably, beds very comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight made sure not to miss it each day, staff again was wonderful, took a tray up to the boys still sleeping.
Overall perfect location 10 minute walk (we walked everywhere) quiet and clean.

Ideal location as just on the edge of the old town so it was quiet, especially when enjoying a drink in the enchanting terrace garden. The staff were lovely, the breakfasts filling and the rooms comfortable and well equipped. The hotel staff were knowledgeable about the area and were able to make recommendations of places to eat as the hotel did not provide evening meals.

An excellent new stylish hotel near the historical center and the train station, in a quiet and peaceful location near the Arno embankment and the American consulate. The room has everything you need, there is a kettle, a TV with a bunch of channels, a soft bed, a new bottle of water every day. Large bathroom with bathrobes and all necessary accessories. Good breakfast, you can even have it in the fresh air. Among the small minuses - our room was on the 2nd floor + we had to walk several flights of narrow stairs, but no one helped us, so it could be difficult with heavy suitcases. Also, there were no radiators in the room at all, so the humidity was very high.
