We just checked out of this lovely hotel and truly enjoyed our stay! We were traveling with our family of 6 and the hotel customized our experience. The rooms were tastefully decorated, amazing views of the Arno River and world class amenities (including a butler!)They left sweet treats and juice for our children when we returned back for the day;...

As you would expect from a hotel of this caliber everything was good from the service to the amenities all in a beautiful building. Though beware of SPG upgrades that are not quite what they seem. The Winter Garden bar area is excellent with great well informed, friendly staff. However the Michelin star restaurant did not impress. A restaurant like...

The St. Regis Hotel is one of the best hotels available in town, top-notch service, very attentive staff and great rooms. One of the great perks available is the in-house SPA/Massage, very skilled and prepared masseuses. You can enjoy a great selection of drinks at the suggestively decorated bar. Breakfast is excellent, I didn't try the restaurant as there are...

The warm staff welcomes you the minute you arrive. They immediately sat with us, described the property, amenities and local sites. The concierge immediately recommended the Firenze Red Card. This allows expedited entry into almost every museum. Be warned, when you get to the museum (like the Duomo) you have to register for visits and can't just use the card!...

Coming from the hospitality background, st Regis floored me completely. One of the most memorable stay. Exceptional service touch points starting from the door man to the restaurants .exceprional concierge service where they have an answer to all your queries. Do not miss the champagne sabering in the evening. Great breakfast spread with superlative quality. Will come back again.

We stayed at the St Regis APRIL 12 TO THE 17TH. What a wonderful stay. The location is a couple of blocks from the Ponte Vecchio bridge and truly in the center of town. The train station is a 10 minute walk so to go other places is not difficult. We had a room on the 1st floor which I...

I just read a review of this hotel on Yelp that said that the staff were very welcoming to guests at check-in, greetings, open the door, take over the luggage, etc. and that's where the signature "St. Regis" service ends at this hotel - I wish I had read that Yelp review before coming here... couldn't agree more. Staying in Santa Maria Novella

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Maria Novella
Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.
