One word - Aldo… he is a special Italian concierge always giving you the best spots and service. This is an exceptional hotel in every way. Whether you are having the amazing breakfast, needing hard to get reservations, want a great tea time or an amazing night cap. I have only great things to say, and I’m in the industry. Truly bucket list level!
3 nights in this gorgeous ex-Palace of a hotel was not enough! Could I move in? The staff is incredible, knowledgable and kind. And the room, well, it was out of this world! Insanely beautiful bathroom, FRESCOs on the walls! The bed was dreamy. I couldn't have asked for better!
Just a great experience. We stayed in 416 and kids in 406. The river view in 416 was well worth it. Bedding was comfortable, climate control excellent. Bathroom very nice. Housekeeping was always quick and well done. Nice turn down service. Breakfast buffet was very complete. We had dinner in the winter garden. Very pricey but worth every penny. Service was- as expected top notch. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Elegance without any attitude. Easy walking distance to all key attractions. Would definitely stay here next time.
Our first stop during our 14 day Italy trip. We were upgraded to the Bottega Veneta Suite with 2 full bathrooms, nice view, balcony and butler. ( great for woman traveling together) Beatrice our butler is awesome, she was our butler another time too. We did use the SNA and received a nicer upgrade then The Junior Suite. We also received sparkling wine as an amenity with fruit and some sweets… The Sevice was still on par. Breakfast was great. Check in was painless, check out was even easier. #ambassadorstatusmatters #suiteupgrades #stregisflorence #SNA #specialtysuite #stregis #florence
Beautiful hotel with the Florentine flair, and the signature St Regis service. They know how to treat their guests. Had a room with a view of the river and private balcony, where we enjoyed breakfast every morning. The hotel surprised us on the first night with a complimentary bottle of champagne, congratulating us on our honeymoon. Spent one late evening getting drinks at the Winter Garden. The pianist was incredibly talented, taking song requests up until midnight. The cocktails were excellent. The staff seemed to know our names and room number every time we left and came back. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
If I could write a book and post it right now but I do not have the time. The entire experience was simply my dream come true. For years I have been following this Hotel's score systems against other similar brands globally and I can now confirm why. From check in to departure, these people knew where I was at all times and their legendary Butler Service was just brilliant. Make sure you go to the main bar at around 7pm to witness the Sabrage ritual, stunning. One thing to point out was the Dinner at the main restaurant in the internal Courtyard / it blew me away! The Chef came over to the table afterwards to say hello -what a gentleman. Ms Ombretta made sure I was looked after and she does such an amazing job with all of her guests. I was so upset on leaving, but I shall return because I need to. Thank you everyone, specially the Butler team .…
I was staying with the Marriott Villas. Due to a last second mix up (Marriott Villas being totally unresponsive to email after me asking to extend stay, totally separate issue), I was forced to book here last second. Price was ridiculous for the dated room I got, which included a broken hot water safety on the shower (flat out dangerous). We had such a stressful day because we literally witnessed someone have a heart attack at cinque terre and that we had to have our Villas host move all our belongings to the hotel. They had open suites and I asked for an upgrade given that we were paying 1k for a night. They asked for an additional 2.5k. Telling about them this at check in the staff had no idea what we were saying and responded great to us saying we witnessed someone die due to their limited English. When I pleaded about the situation due to the villas mix up they responded: "we got nothing to share with with villas". Worst service I have ever received from Marriott staff. Totally disrespectful of the bonvoy program. This hotel should get kicked out so marriot has nothing to share with them! Spend your money elsewhere.…
We stayed in early May, they staff were excellent and provided excellent recommendations and service throughout our stay. The room was excellent with an excellent view and spacious. Yuri was exceptionally helpful to my wife and I throughout our stay, the knowledge, care and assistance provided was excellent.
we went to the bar for having a drink and the service was a disaster. We have been waiting for a waiter 10 minutes, were serviced with warm sparkling water and low knowledge about the chosen bottle of white wine. after a desperate talk with the bar tender we were informed that due to Covid problems the bat was understaffed. This should not happen in St Regis
As the great Renaissance poets of yesteryear espoused, “If only to be young and in love in the St Regis in Florence.” And indeed, it is true. We visited the St Regis at the start of our honeymoon in this great country and I cannot fathom a better landing spot. We enjoyed rest and luxury in this beautiful hotel from the get/go. The rooms were personally designed and built by Michelangelo in his later years. Ok, maybe not, but they do feel regal and dignified, and you can look out and see the bridges Michelangelo designed from your window overlooking the river. And that is real. The staff was wonderful. The concierge helped with all our reservations and planning. The “butlers” brought a freshly made French press of coffee to our room every morning. And the location is absolutely perfect to access the main parts of town, museums, and the squares, without being right in the thick of the crowds and noise. I’m also going to buy their mattress because I’ve never slept so well. Was it all dream? Or is this the dream… and the St Regis is the only thing that’s real?…
