We have stayed at quite a number of European hotels over many years and this is the first time we have felt compelled to write a review. Hotel Mulino di Firenze provided us with all the comforts we could have asked for. The restaurant served delicious, high quality food, which was an unexpected bonus. The staff were friendly, professional and...

Visited Mulino in Feb 2013 and found this hotel to be very beautiful, typically Tuscan with extremely friendly and knowledgable staff. Restaurant staff really looked after us ensuring we had exactly what we wanted for breakfast and always with a warm smile. The room was very clean, bathroom had a very nice jacuzzi which was nice to relax in after...

This is a lovely hotel and a nice place to relax after the crowds in Florence. The facilities are great indoors and out and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was terrific and we ate dinner there often. The shuttle service was very handy, but I wish the shuttle made more trips in the...

Eighteen months on we have returned to Mulino di Firenze to find the staff holding to the same high standards set at the time of our initial visit. Despite the difficulties Europe is experiencing high quality operations such as this must maintain high standards but like everywhere else tighten the belt. It is a difficult balancing act. We have some...

Dear guest from Sidney, I have to say your review is the best one our hotel has ever received. First of all because you are a returning guest (the most important thing for every hotel in the world) but also because you are pointing out my staff attitude with the guest. Thank you for sending clients, we will not disappoint...

We stayed for three nights in May. The hotel is 4km out of Florence but a shuttle mini bus runs regularly throughout the day to take you to the centre of the city. We left our car in their garage and didn't need to use it. Our room (no. 4) had a view of the river and was spacious and...

We stayed here for the final two nights in a grand tour of Italy. It was certainly the little piece of luxury we needed. Located just outside Florence on the river, it was a peaceful stay but easy to get into the city with the free shuttle bus provided. Good facilities included free undercover parking, a nice bar and restaurant...

My husband and i stayed in hotel Mulino for 5 days as part of our honeymoon, it was the best part of the trip! Away from the fact that Florence is one of the most gorgeous parts in Italy, Mulino was an amazing place, service was amazing, we got the chance to meet the hotel owner when we were checking...

This hotel is a hidden gem just off the beaten path. They provide a shuttle service to downtown, so no problem there. It offers you the luxury of the countryside views and relaxation without the big city hassels. The service on every level is the best I've had. The food at the resturant was exceptional!! We will be back!!!!
