My wife and I stayed at the Mulino de Firenze for 7 nights, using it as a base from which to explore Tuscany. The hotel itself is in a very pleasant location some 4-5 km away from the bustling centre of Florence. It is on old converted mill right next to the river Arno with an interesting history, which the...

The room fablous, the staff helpful, smiley, the kitchen tasty, and the garden is huge, calm and beautyful :) They don't know the word impossible :) We couldn't try the pool, it was too cold but it's inviting.

Loved this hotel and staff but if you are going for a short period then I think you should stay in the city. However if you have several days and are there to more relax than this place is definitely 5 stars. There is a shuttle that runs I believe that takes you into the city at 9, 10, and...

We loved this hotel! We were very happy that we did not stay in the city as we had beautiful views of the Tuscany hills and quiet surroundings. Our room was beautiful and immaculate. It was so nice to come back to such lovely accommodations after long days walking in the city. The shuttle service was great and we were...

If you don't want to stay in the busy and noisy heart of Florence this is a good alternative but make sure to pay the extra to have a room looking over the river otherwise you will be woken by the morning traffic. The hotel is very pleasant the room we had was spacious. There is a swimming pool and...

Dear Guest, Thank You for taking the time to share Your experience with other Travellers! This is a nice place, friendly, good location and restaurant this is why we went back again. Quintessential Italian courtyards, Tuscan views and super friendly service make this place good. The restaurant has outstanding service, with a special mention to Claudio for his charm. Good menu, over the four nights between us we tried all the dishes. The menu is...

When travelling in Europe the most important feature of the room that we always request is that it is a quiet one. On this occasion, despite this request, we were given a room right next to the lifts. Upon enquiring with the reception, they apologised that they didn't read the request and promptly moved us to another lovely room with...

We had booked two nights here with the intent to settle after a long motorcycle trip from Northern Ireland, however on arrival we found our room was not ready, the previous occupants choosing to stay an extra night. We were instead put up for one night in a sister hotel The Olmi resort nearby which is subject to a separate...

Dear Guest, Thank You for sharing Your experience with other Travellers, I apologize at Your arrival You found the unlucky situation described and I completely understand the inconvenient caused from staying 2 nights in 2 different Hotels. Unfortunately unforseen issues are always behind the corner and the only chance we have it is to make the inconvenient caused as small...

Fantastic hotel. Friendly staff. Beautiful location. I would stay here every time I visit Florence. WiFi was spotty. Getting in and out of the parking lot is tricky, road can be busy sometimes. Rooms are updated and clean. Breakfast is included and spectacular. Beautiful views and location. Thanks for a great visit.

A really nice and relaxing place to stay. Ask for room 14, it was part of a recent renovation and we were told the best with a view of the river, grounds, and pool. Windows on 3 sides and very large. We were able to walk to the city center from here but it took about an hour. Would definitely...
