We spent 2 weeks traveling thru italy. The last thing we wanted to do in Florence was to stay in the busier areas. The Hotel Plazzo Guadagni is the perfect location! 3 minutes from the river, steps away from some of the best places to eat in the city! Don't forget to buy your own bottle of Chianti and have...

This is a really special hotel in a historic building in Florence. We had a great stay and loved relaxing on the balcony after a long day of sightseeing to watch the sunset. The staff was helpful in making us reservations and accommodating our stay. The room was surprisingly large with tall ceilings and lots of space for luggage.

This hotel is really more of a bed and breakfast. Staff is very helpful. The facility is clean and well maintained and most of all it is just a little off the beaten path which was very important for us. The weekend we were in Florence, the streets were packed. It was patrimony weekend and they had their Relay for...

We just returned from Italy and during our last three evenings, we were at the Hotel Palazzo Guadagni in the Oltrano district of Florence. The 'palace' is situated right on Piazza Santo Spirito--a gathering place for young people, as well as locals and tourists (but not a lot). The hotel is a great place to unpack your bags and it...

Our room, #4, was enormous and beautiful. Bathroom spotless and also enormous. The hotel's balcony overlooking Piazza Santo Spirito offered a nice view of the sunset and was where we enjoyed eating casual take-out food and a bottle of wine in the evening. Breakfast was generous and satisfying. The location is generally good (less than 10 minute walk to Ponte...

This lovely hotel in Florence was the start of our Italian holiday. It far exceeded our expectations. Everything about this palazzo was great. The location was good, the S.
